Eagles rule out Asante Samuel, Winston Justice

A. Samuel

The Eagles will head to Dallas without two of their key starters.

Cornerback Asante Samuel and tackle Winston Justice were both downgraded from questionable to out after Philadelphia’s walkthrough practice on Saturday.  Coach Andy Reid hinted at the possibility Friday, saying both players could be left behind when the team travels.

The Eagles pass defense just hasn’t looked the same without Samuel this year.  Even without Dez Bryant, the Cowboys could give the team problems through the air.

Justice is nearly as big a loss.  The Eagles’ season ended in embarrassing fashion last year because they couldn’t block Dallas’ front seven.  Now the team will have to face the Cowboys without one of their more consistent players.

Okay, so now the score will be:
    Eagles 42, Dallas 17

    Instead of:
    Eagles 42, Dallas 3

I dislike like both of these teams, but I hope Dallas can win. Like to see Peyton’s little brother make if further than the dog slayer. That and the Eagles fans won’t be able to blame this loss on the field.

Cue the Giants fans’ injury comparisons…

Big losses for sure as the Girls are still a dangerous team.

@ halasfan….Thanks for that input. Bc Eagles fans were blaming a field for their loss? So now your making up excuses, and accusing the Eagles fans of using them? LMAO. I know your used to seeing excuses from whoever ur mysterious team is, but the Eagles dont use them. If they wanted to, it would be more appropriate to complain about the countless roughing calls the Eagles get every time they touch a QB or get an important sack, and the ZERO roughing calls that have been called on opposing defenses against us. That would be legit. But they STILL dont use THAT as an “excuse”. When they lose, they get OUTPLAYED, not bc of field conditions or blatant no call penalties. Those things dont help but they ARENT the reason. Pay attention before you levy accusations their buddy.

This makes the game a toss up. The secondary was not good against Texas. The Eagles won because Vick willed it. The Cowboys game is a best a toss-up. At least Parker’s return will beef up the run game. Play Miles Austin on you fantasy football team. He will make the Bird’s secondary look pathetic.

Spikes has a problem paying attention. To the stuff he puts in his body, for instance.

Another excuse for stupid, ignorant, and sore loser eagle fans to use for why their team consistently chokes year after year……

No superbowl ring for the Eagles, EVER!!!!!

Mysterious team? Do you know you George Halas is? My Halas fan name is in honor of him and the team he made. In talking about blaming the turf, I was referring to the groups of Eagle fans who were whining when the got beat at Soldiers Field.

Soldiers Field is where the Bears play and George Halas was a professional baseball player who was hired by the Staley Starch Works to create a comapny football team in 1920. They later sold the Decatur Staley’s to George for $5,000 who moved the football team to Chicago. He leased Wrigley Field to play at and renamed the Team the Chicago Bears.

He also was at a meeting in Canton, Ohio when the people at the meeting created the American Football Association. This later became the NFL.

No doubt not having Aasante and Winston playing hurt the eagles chances of winning this game.

However, the eagles are saving them for next week against NY.

A split with Dallas works just fine for us
