Patriots rolling in Chicago

tombrady

The New England Patriots are picking up today where they left off Monday night.

Fresh off their beatdown of the Jets six days ago, the Pats are dominating the Bears at snowy Soldier Field today.

The Patriots have had a 12-play, 85-yard drive that ended with a Rob Gronkowski seven-yard touchdown catch, and an 11-play, 87-yard drive that ended with a Danny Woodhead three-yard touchdown run. So far the Patriots have picked up 12 first downs, while the Bears have two.

Early in the second quarter, it’s 14-0 New England.

UPDATE: Just after we posted this, Patriots linebacker Gary Guyton picked up a fumble and ran 35 yards for a touchdown. Make it 21-0 New England.

UPDATE 2: A couple Patriots field goals have made it 27-0 New England.

UPDATE 3: Can we quit updating now and just say this thing is over? It’s 33-0 New England at halftime.
