The Jets defense held the Dolphins to only 131 yards and six first downs. The only Dolphins touchdown came after Mark Sanchez lost a fumble to set up a short field. Ryan’s critique reportedly didn’t sit well with defensive players, most of whom bolted out of the locker room quickly.

He hurt our feelings! You didn’t have much to say when he was saying “How good the Team was!”
There’s no crying in football….there’s always next year!

You serious dude? I know teams have slumps but your QB looks lost and that D shouldn’t be too excited. They played against a terrible Miami Offense and Henne was awful. IF the Jets do make the playoffs, it’s 1 and done.

Thinking back, does anyone else think it ironic that the Pat’s began the process of trading Moss AFTER the Jets broke the bank for Revis? The Jets invested $18 mil/year for a player who will have little or no impact in games between them for the next 10 years?

Ryan said he built the Jets to beat the Pat’s. Unfortunately for Rex and Jets fans, the Pats changed their team when they weren’t paying attention.

Good luck vs. the Steelers….you’re going to need it.

The Phins are much better than a mediocre team. Yeah, they may have a below par offense, especially without Hartline now, but they have a top five D to be a threat if they get some luck and make the playoffs. Their kickers are amongst the best in the game, special teams has improved greatly since the Pats game. We need to hope for a Ravens or Jets collapse these last 3 games, but there’s still hope. If only our D secondary could catch a few more of those easy INT’s, we’d easily be at 9-4 or 10-3. I can easily say the only games we legitimately lost were to the Ravens, Browns and Pats. And even in the Pats game, if you take away special teams, we dominated otherwise. Go Phins!

We are still in prime position to make the playoffs. Every year the Jets hit a road bump. Rex will gets these guys ready to go for the playoffs, which is what actually matters. Sanchez needs to step his game up, but I’d like to see more dedication to the run game. I’m a die hard fan but will be the first to say we aren’t going to win many games with Sanchez throwing 44 pass attempts. Defense played solid yesterday but hasn’t been overall as good all year.

I’m expecting to win 2/3 to finish the year strong and go into the playoffs primed for another run.

Yeah, they ‘hit a road bump’ that knocks them off the road to the superbowl every friggin year. I know they won a SB back in prehistoric times, but they have been just plain losers, like their fan base, ever since.

The Jets are lucky the didn’t drop a couple of those close ones, otherwise the implosion would be in full bloom right now. Can you imagine what would have happened if the Lions and Browns won those two games? They’re also lucky the Dolphins are so firmly planted in mediocrity that they haven’t gotten more than one game over .500 this year. Right now luck is the only thing that has the Jets 2nd in the AFC East. They ought to be sweating bullets about the Chargers and Colts winning games this week, and the fact that they’re going on the road to face two division leaders in the next two weeks. We’re not that far away from a Buffalo upset keeping the Jets home for the postseason, and that’s no longer an exaggeration.

Jets are no different than it is for the Patriots, Packers or Colts. Rex certainly doesn’t want to blame his worthless “Sanchez” and hurt his fragile ego all the more. The colts, packers and pats all have good qb’s but it is NEVER the qb’s fault when they lose, even if they only give up 3 or 7 pts, it’s the defense, kicker, special teams, offensive line etc. but never the precious qb. At least Manning and Brady have won a SB, but Rodgers overall winning record is barely above .500, never won a playoff game, never won a divison title, etc. etc. but you won’t hear McTubby ever blame Rodgers and now Rex is doing the same thing. Sanchez has 4 fumbles and INT and it’s not his fault. If it were Ben R., McNabb, Farve etc. the coaches and media would be pointing the finger at them but Rex has got to protect the Sanchiez from the N.Y. media and in GB “the media is the packers”, not a columnist, beat writer or sports reporter has the “grapes” to tell it like it is.

lesson to all jets fans, you arent great cause your coach and team thinks they are, in this league u actually have to go out and prove greatness. i would say “same old jets” but in actuality you are way more pitiful then teams past. nothing uglier then unearned arrogance, and for that i couldnt be happier that your team sucks, your qb has proven that he wont win the big one, and your fat coach has sold your teams future for this year. imagine next year when you have to let go of half of the big names on your team. you build teams in this league, you dont buy them and for that you arent even gonna be the second best team in the divisioon after this year.

lastly im really curious about one thing, where have all you loud mouth jets fans gone????? lol

jets fans have crawled into the hole that they belong in, i dont see any of them spewing the team fabricated mantra that they are the best. not even sure you are making the playoffs with your schedule.
