Percy Harvin will miss Monday night’s game

Despite an extra day of rest and some newfound optimism on Sunday, Vikings receiver Percy Harvin is definitely out for Monday night’s game, according to NFL Network’s Steve Wyche.  Harvin reportedly didn’t make the trip to Detroit.

Harvin’s absence could especially be felt on a night where the Vikings quarterback figures to be under a lot of pressure.

Oh yeah, the quarterback.  Judd Zulgad of the Minneapolis Star-Tribune notes that Brett Favre wasn’t on the first bus to the stadium for the first time all year.  So there you go.

Favre will arrive just prior to kickoff. By air amulance. And be lowered directly into the huddle.

He has his own bus right? He doesn’t ride with the ‘regular players’ does he?

Farve is waiting for 4 peons, er “teammates”, to fetch him in a personal helicopter, and he’ll hold his breath and stamp his feet until they do so.

Harvin is such a great player but, this is so frusterating time and time and time again!

Too bad for Percy. Those migrains are real killers. Glad I don’t have them – I just give them.

    hobartbaker is right.
Just stick him in a Batman cape and he’s set!

Not being on the first bus could mean he is at the hospital getting the pain injection.

Percy Harvin is a great player and was a steal where we got him. These migraines are a terrible pain to be inflicted on anyone. Wishing him the best and hope that someday he will be able to move past these.
