I’m cautiously optimistic–emphasis on the “cautious”. You ever notice how when we (Bears fans) keep our expectations low, the Bears have a habit of pleasantly surprising us.

I’d like to see what Joe Webb can do. Lot of hype for a guy who’s almost a nobody. At the same time though, I’d almost kill to see Jeff George under center for the rest of the season. Just for no reason other than to let the guy get another 15 minutes of fame.

Rosenthal, don’t you know the difference between bad qb play and bad offense? Between the crappy play calling, terrible o line, and no Chester Taylor (don’t think Favre doesn’t miss him) or Sydney Rice, how could Favre have done anything differently? He came back to give the Vike’s everything he had and they put a really crappy team around him, much like they did in GB for a lot of years!

Doesn’t matter who starts at QB, they won’t be successful behind that o line. Just sucks that Favre had to play out his final year like that!

I’ll give props to Favre for his streak–anyone who can play that many games has to either be tough to play with injuries or smart enough not to get them.
