In September, Kevin Curtis was out of football and battling testicular cancer. Today he’s healthy and ready to play for the Miami Dolphins.
Adam Caplan of FOX Sports reports that the Dolphins have signed Curtis to a one-year deal.
The 32-year-old Curtis struggled with injuries and played in just 12 games for the Eagles over the last two seasons. In 2007 Curtis started all 16 games in Philadelphia and had 77 catches for 1,110 yards.
Curtis, who worked out for the Dolphins on Monday, could be ready to play as soon as Sunday’s game against the Bills.

That dude’s nuts
Good for him, I will root for a strong comeback! I hope this turns into a inspirational story like how it ended for Lance.
Welcome to Miami Curtis.
He’s a good guy…glad he caught on with a team.
Good luck Kevin! He was a poor mans Welker!
Hope things go well in FL!
I loved this kid ever since he was in St. Louis. He gave up on his NFL dream (nobody could have ever guessed he’d get another shot to play ball) to go to Africa for his church. Guy’s an amazing story and a gutsy performer. They should make a movie.
Totally inspirational.
How long before Curtis hears from Brian Cushing about the struggles of going through a cancer scare…oh, wait…
@greggy,
