All you Eagirls fans forget. Your rushing game has been CRAP the past couple weeks. Take away all the garbage time rushes for McCoy and Vick and your rushing average would be like 1.0 for McCoy and maybe 3 yards for Vick.

That makes what McCoy did more impressive idiot.

last week there was 4 minutes left to play with the Eagles only leading by 3. Everyone in the world knew that all the Eagles were going to do was run the ball and the Cowboys couldnt stop them. Its only garbage time if the team they are playing has no way to come back and win but that hasnt been the case. The Eagles have been using there running game to close out and win games which makes it harder to do not easy.

All you Eagirls fans forget. Your rushing game has been CRAP the past couple weeks.

---False. It's one of the best in league.

Take away all the garbage time rushes for McCoy and Vick and your rushing average would be like 1.0 for McCoy and maybe 3 yards for Vick.

---What the hell are "garbage time" rushes? Ones in the 4:00 min drill? Are you freaking kidding me?

Stat line for McCoy last game : 14 rushes, 111 yards. 50 of those were a long run in the 4th quarter when the game was almost done. So in reality it was 13 rushes for 61 yards.

----So we just don't count the run that sealed the game? How the hell can you be serious?

13 RUSHES AND HE’S YOUR MAIN BACK. Reid still loves to throw it and he will continue to do so.

---Maybe so, but the Eagles rushing offense is ranked 6th in the league.

If Eli didn’t fumble that ball by sliding going headfrist, we would’ve scored a TD and it would be a different case now.

---And if we didn't drop 2 touchdowns and if the refs weren't atrocious, you'd have bear you by 30.

Also Bradshaw isn’t the starter anymore, Jacobs is. Let’s get back to the 2007 season where Jacobs bruised up the D and the 2nd back wiped you out.

---You might not want to forget it, because it makes you feel better...but it has no relevance to this game whatsoever. Our rushing defense is ranked 11th, which big games against some of the best backs in the league. Just watch...we'll play the run full out and make She-Lie one dimensional, which transforms him into a PICK MACHINE. Write it down...press it in a book.

The Dogkiller isn’t going to win this. Sorry Eagles fans. Maybe if Reid and Vick had their way you’d get all your yards in 15 yards chunks from hitting your QB legally.

---That just shows what a dolt you are. Vick's off the field issues have nothing to do with this. Neither does the penalty issue. Oh, but if She-lie took those hits, you'd be throwing crying fit like a little girl. Go cuddle your teddy bear and drink your PBR. You'll need it when your team loses.

I'd like to know how many writers and broadcasters watch as many games as an average fan with the Ticket? I think many of the posters on this board know more than the writers. This game between the Birds and Gmen will come down to how much the loss of Stew Bradley hurts the Eagles pass defense. I think they'll stop the run with or without him. If Asante Samuel plays Eli will throw him the ball at least two times. I call this game a virtual toss-up. If pressed I'd pick the Eagles only because the Giants can't seem to win against them.

are you forgetting that the eagles proved you completely wrong last time on everything you predicted about the game this week? the giants have the players to slow down mike vick, sure, but then vick exploded in the pass game...and he also scrambled for a touchdown...so i guess they couldnt slow him enough. our front 7 can be pushed around so much that we held bradshaw and jacobs combined to 17 for 39 with no TDs and a fumble lost. manning threw 3 picks to us and the longest pass on the day was 22 yards. THE GIANTS ARE INFERIOR AND THEY HAVE PROVEN IT. there cant be any question that the eagles will trounce the giants, just like last time.

"Philly’s front seven can be pushed around on the ground"

really, you guys do any homework/research before posting this garbage.

check when the Eagles last gave up 100 yds. to 1 running back... even though they faced Chris Johnson, Clinton Portis, Micheal Turner, Frank Gore, Ahmad Bradshaw, Tashard Choice, Jones-Drew, Joseph Addai and Arian Foster. you have to go back to week 3 against the Lions and Jahvid Best, or against Week 12, Chicago's Matt Forts to get a RB with over 100yds. 2 RB's out of 13 got over 100yds..

And yet the Eagles lead the league in Yards per Game.

The Eagles allow 4.1yds per carry. They make 5.3yds per carry. So why is noone talking about the Eagles Rushing yrds???

The lions seem to start games strong but the bucs usually finish strong bucs have 5 second half shutouts this year and if they leave my dude freeman within striking distance he can get it done he is clutch 5 fourth quarter comebacks this year and 7 of his 11 career wins are 4th quarter comebacks the lions d-line has been one of the better front 4 this year but I think the secondary can get exposed go buccaneers!

If teams want to take the run away from KC they can - like SD did last week. STL only gives up 106 ypg so they will stuff the box with Laurenitis and bring up probowl safety Atogwe and make Cassel beat them in the air. If CB Bartell is back that wont be likely.

KC also has Todd Haley making ridiculous play calling. If they can lose to OAK and DEN on the road, you can expect a loss to a better team here.

@camprobot
Philly is a respectable 11th against the run right now. Better than average.

Since I don't watch Philly games, I cannot attest to being "pushed around". By looking at stats alone, it looks like they are good/very good against the run. However, the loss of Stewart Bradley and Brandon Graham may (probably will) hurt the run defense.

Guess we won't know till Sunday.

I don't buy Rosenthal's logic about the Giants being able to win by running. The Eagles run defense has improved since the loss to the Redskins early in the season. Stewart Bradley is out, so that might hurt them. But still, the Eagles are currently 11th in Rushing Yards allowed (103.5). In week 15, the Giants only had 51 yards rushing on 19 attempts against the Eagles.
