Cracks me up how people are so hypocritical and sit on their soap boxes and judge. Here’s a man that did wrong, paid his debt to society and continues to live a positive image and yet people like the writer of this blog continue to only see what he did…as if they never did a wrong thing in their life.

What Vick DID was wrong and everyone is so focused on that they can’t even see all he does now and they take what he says as untruth or with a different motive. Being a product of your environment doesn’t excuse the wrong, and hopefully you learn how wrong that is, and I think Vick HAS learned. For those who hate on him…were YOU there to see how he grew up???

And if you can’t understand being a product of your environment, think of things you did growing up that were okay to you but as you grew up you learned that it was wrong…but yet and still…you did it and didn’t have a problem with it.

Now get off your soapbox…stop trying to destroy the man…your ignorance is sickening!

Who stopped Vick? The giants? 258 yards and a rushing TD with 2 dropped TD’s passes.

The Bears? 333 yards 2 passing TD’s and 2 dropped TD’s.

The Texans? i wont even print those stats.

The cowboys? 270 yards 2 passing TD’s and one Rushing TD.

Don’t let the hate confuse you. And stop listening to those so called experts and watch for a change it’s not like you don’t get to see the game the Eagles are the Highest rated team in the league right now because of Vick.

Mike Vick did the crime, then did his time: Fact!

Mike Vick is doing & saying all the “right” things: Fact!

Mike Vick will get a large contract next year, along with endorsement deals: Highly Probable!

Mike Vick will continue to do & say all the “right” things: $1million question!

If he does, end of story…happily ever after yadda yadda yadda.

If he does not, well I suppose all bets are off.

Fyi, I’m an Eagles fan and really hope the latter does not occur.

@cup1981- Vick did absolutely nothing for the Falcons? Are you serious, NFC championship game, playoff runs? Don’t let your personal hate of Vick cloud what he has done.

He has had good seasons and WINNING seasons as a Falcon. Perhaps this year is a once in a career season for him, the fact is he can lead teams to victory. As far as D Mcnabb did too, only difference is he might win the big one.

First of all Michael Vick is not AT ALL comparable to Tom Brady. The Eagles are a good team, but do not have what it takes to even consider talking about a dynasty team like the Patriots! Why do Eagles fans constantly live in fantasy land??? Mike Vick had 1 record setting game this season, two games later he got shut down. Wake up!! It’s one thing to have high hopes and be optimistic for your team, but don’t be ridiculous.

cup1981 & peterson28 you guys need to read up on your Pro Football Talk info. The Browns were calling about Kolb at the end of September, with McCoy playing well they may not still be interested. But if I were the Cardinal’s I would gladly trade for Kolb than draft a QB, he is still young and has had the time to learn. Look at most quality QB’s they get the chance to sit and learn before getting thrown in, granted there have been a few exceptions to the rule recently, but generally sitting a couple of years helps out, look at Aaron Rodgers. And you can’t tell me a team like the Dolphins are going to get as good as QB as him if they use their 1st round pick on one, plus he is ready to go, you won’t have to go through the growing pains of a rookie QB. Matt Cassel even got a top 2nd round pick and he isn’t as good as Kolb. An older McNabb even got a second round pick, so unless the Eagles are unsure of Vick, Kolb will be gone for some picks that can sure up the O-line or the D. I would look at the Schaub trade as pretty much the same deal and they flip flopped 1st round picks and got two 2nd rounders, and trading for Kolb would be about the same as that.

This story is not about turning a positive into a negative, it’s about character, specifically Michael Vick’s character. The guy killed dogs without regret (until he was caught and punished–funny how that works), and all the touchdowns in the world aren’t going to make that go away. Vick is a scumbag who can throw a ball in the air very well, for which he is highly compensated. He deserves neither respect or admiration. Or a signing bonus. If he thinks he’s entitled to anything at this point, then nothing’s truly changed about him.

I have no problem with Vick. He admits to everything he did wrong. He paid his debt.
He is always out there he is not hiding. He answers ever question the media asks. He talks to young children all the time. So if Vick was losing games I would still feel the same way.
He knows he screwed up and admits.

Now for the real idiot in this league who everyone wants to cheer for makes no admission that he did anything wrong.
Because he thinks he did nothing wrong.
God-ell says he has changed what has he done.
This man does not even show his face.
Christmas time all the playes are doing good deeds where is he. His PR people are afraid someone will punch him in the mouth.
I’m waiting for my chance to heckle him.

The Eagles will act like they’re worried about the labor deal and trade Vick for a couple firsts. Kolb is locked up next year and they’ll shore up the line and make another run with him.

shocker98, your crazy if you think the Eagles are getting multiple 1st round picks let alone any. Cutler had already proved himself in the league when the Bears pulled the trigger on that trade. Kolb has showed flashes of being a decent QB but hasn’t showed any consistency (not his fault I know with being behind McNabb and now Vick). A first round pick would just be too risky in my opinion with how deep this draft in. Andrew Luck, Cam Newton, and Ryan Mallet are all more talented then him and all have the potential to be stars in this league. I don’t see it in Kolb and if he gets the boot over Vick neither did Reid idc what anyone says.

Rock star treatment for Micheal,he has played very well and playing with the eagles has helped. Micheal himself with a lot of work has made himself one of the top QB’S in the NFL and its been so much fun to watch.As for Keven Kolb don’t feel too bad he will be a starter for some NFL team and ALL of us in Philly wish him only the best,he deserves it and i will root for him where ever he goes.
