Although I agree with your first point… I find it interesting a Charger fan thinks the Raiders are an embarassingly bad team, considering they just went into San Diego and pretty much whipped there arses from start to finish.. oh.. and as for Tebow doing well.. remember.. this is the same embarassingly bad Raider team that went into Mile High and dropped 59 on this same Bronco defense.. I really don’t think Tim and his God will make much of a difference.

I really don’t believe I HATE Tim Tebow, I just think he’s overrated (not a pocket passer, running ability doesn’t make up for it at NFL level) and has enjoyed a lot of success and income from his team’s success in college. And sure, I’d rather keep my football and religion separate. I don’t believe religious entities are concerned about football games, just my opinion.

Most quarterbacks fall short of expectations regardless of their conference. But right now, there are two Super Bowl winners from the SEC in the league: Peyton Manning and Eli Manning. Jay Cutler is a Pro Bowl QB from the SEC. And Matt Stafford has gotten off to a positive start in Detroit if he can just stay healthy. So that’s four SEC QBs and five Big Ten QBs, genius. You really don’t have much bragging room.

Tim Tebow is a fantastic athlete with a great work ethic. But he comes out of a run-first spread offense that’s not a good breeding ground for NFL QBs and his poor throwing motion is heavily ingrained. That speaks to Tim Tebow’s shortcomings as a QB, just as Jamarcus Russell’s poor work ethic speaks to his character. The SEC has turned out plenty of quality players, including quarterbacks, over the years. Or are you unhappy with Hines Ward?

It probably won’t be tomorrow but Tebow will succeed, much to the dismay of crapholes like the assclown quoted above. If Tebow drank, stayed out past curfew, smoked pot, abused women and carried guns then jerks like pkrlvr would approve of him.

I don’t know, perhaps he will. But I do know that when you combine superior physical skills with smarts and excellent character the guy has a chance.

So I will watch with interest and pray the young man succeeds.

What friggin difference does it make and what does that have to do with this man getting his opportunity to show his bosses, teammates, fans and” HATERS” like you just what he can do in this league! It is disgusting how a young man like Tim can try to do everything the right way. Everyone says Tim is not ever going to succeed at the NFL level. He’s a product of the system he ran in college. He’s not the prototypical size of an NFL QB. Tebow has won his whole life, going all the way back to Pop Warner playing at Lake Shore Athletic Assoc. People have tried to knock others down through out history when they have displayed unbelievable success in life! Call it what you will, I call it being a HATER! Tim Tebow will never lose faith in God and will never lose faith in himself to succeed, and for those two reasons, I belive he will. are you stupid? Peyton Manning is one of the greatest QB’s to play the game. If you think he’s overrated, you obviously don’t watch much football.

“Majik” went down with an injury in early 1992 and on came Brett Favre and he played for 18 plus straight years, where as the Majik Man went on to … well, nothing !
