B) I happen to agree with you that my Chargers will likely NOT make the playoffs, and if they do, they likely won’t get far. Teams like the Patriots, Ravens and Steelers are too good for us.

C) Rivers has been a starter for fewer than 4 full seasons (he’s in his 6th year, but backed-up a starting Drew Brees for his first 2) so claiming that he will never win a championship is a bit obtuse and nearsighted. Besides, comparing him to a championship-less Dan Fours might be more apropos. Either way, I’m sure he wouldn’t mind mirroring either man’s career. It’s earned him 100 million so far.

I’m not a lawyer and I don’t live in Colorado, but my understanding is that most (if not all) states require one or both parties of a domestic disturbance to be arrested, no probable cause is necessary. Just a simple accusation is usually good enough to get someone (usually the male half) locked up for the night.

I’m not saying he’s innocent, but saying he’s guilty would be equally irresponsible at this stage. Unless he has prior arrests for assault and/or unless there are photos or witness accounts, he is entitled to his presumption of innocence.

But maybe she slapped herself before boiling his bunny in the pot.

You’re right. He’s entitled to the presumption of innocence. I was reacting generically to the comment about him probably being treated with kid gloves when, if he’s guilty, he’ll be treated like any other person in this circumstance. It’s not the kind of charge that would result in a man being locked away for a long period. If she were telling the truth, she should give him a wide berth. But she in all likelihood, she wouldn’t.

I understand that PFT needs to report the facts of this case, and they seem to have done fine in that regard… It’s the idiots forming conclusions in the comments section which need to grow a brain.

Memo; You dont have talent. McDaniels ran it all away. It wouldnt have mattered. Just watched Cutler and Bears clinch NFC North. Now who got the best of that deal? Denver is transitioning, and they still have no QB, but Tebow is a winner. Will be interesting to see if they can add some pieces on defense. Champ Bailey is gone after this season.

Assuming you don’t mean he’ll get handled with kid glove because he’s a football player. It would be unusual for any man to receive a serious sentence on a first offense in a situation like this. One problem is that the women often drop it long before it goes that far. Since her complaint probably played a role in him being waived, he’s going to be doubly angry now. She should get as far from away him as she can. Hate to say it, but knowing the way these kinds of things go, she’ll probably feel bad that he lost his job and take him back.

They have failed at putting a quality football team on the field for two years. They have failed at having a minimum of good character/bad players, rather they have bad characters who also play badly. The front office has failed at treating season ticket holders like valued patrons, and the visibility in the community has gone off the radar.

The Broncos have lost the city and for the first time since the laughable AFL years, they are endangered of becoming second banana in town, with the Rockies on the rise.
