So what - he tells a friend to go out and beat the Packers... The Bears really should have won-they are the better team right now.
The Packers will never be worth watching again as long as Ted Thompson and Mike McCarthy are with the organization. That is too bad they shed such a crappy light over Green Bay....I live in Green Bay and many many feel the same way.
Very Sad. :-(

Don’t worry Cheeseheads when the time comes Favre and the Cheeseheads will be scratching each others testicles Farve for the cash you’ll caugh up for his autograph you to kiss up to him and have him retire 4 the HOF as a Packer. Surely you must know that players do not retire into the HOF. Players retire and then, possibly, get elected to the HOF. In addition they do not go into the HOF as a player of any team--they go in as an individual and each team they played for during their career now has an additional HOF player.

I get so tired of explaining this.

A friend of mine used a good analogy when he referred to my feelings on Brent..
“Brett is like the your ex girlfriend, you always tell everyone you hate her but in reality your eyes light up every time you see a mention of her.”
I have a feeling that comment is a reality for a lot of Packer fans.
(I’m a life long Packer fan)
=====================================

Your friend used this analogy concerning YOUR feelings about Favre. Your name tells it all…you’re not a Packer fan….you’re a Favre fan. Don’t confuse the difference.

====================================
LOL, I didn't know you had such an insightful look on my life stellarperformance, come on over for christmas and watch the game on sunday, I can assure you the only game this family will be watching will be in Green Bay this Sunday. Douche.

stellar:
I don't think there is a bigger whinier bitch on this site. You are #1 with a bullet. It's been three years since your "fallen hero" left. Get over it!!
Just because he "didn't do the right thing" and "tarnished" his image, doesn't mean we should have to put up with all your Packer fans incessant whining about it.

You, and others like you, claim that you don't care anymore. Yet, here you are on a daily basis, spewing bile anytime there is a post on Favre.

I'm not defending his hemming and hawing, that has gotten old. What I am defending is his right to want to play if he wants to.
Only after he was told he'd be the back-up did he"orchestrate" his way out of town. You know, that little thing where he was sent to NY with the caveat that if the Jets traded him, it would cost them 3 1st rounders. he was told the " the train had left the station" he changed his mind about playing, deal with it.
The problem you and other turds like you have, is that you wanted him gone, but not to play anymore, so you could have Rodgers start. Had he retired a Packer, all would have been right with the world in your eyes, right?

A friend of mine used a good analogy when he referred to my feelings on Brent..
“Brett is like the your ex girlfriend, you always tell everyone you hate her but in reality your eyes light up every time you see a mention of her.”
I have a feeling that comment is a reality for a lot of Packer fans.

Brett Favre is the poster child for the Green Bay Packers. He’s done more for the team than any other player, and for the Packers to treat him as if he wasn’t welcome has to go down as one of the biggest f*ck ups in NFL history.
-----------------------------------------------------------------

You are obviously not from here, and not a Packer fan. Your comment reflects the lack of familiarity most coast-to-coast fans have about Favre...not local opinion. He orchestrated his own way out of here because he thought another team (not his own teammates,) was his best chance for one last SuperBowl. You are reflecting upon whatever you have read about Favre in the USA Today over the years. A lot of blah blah blah about how great he is, etc., etc., etc. We've lived it with him. Go away.

This is an ignorant comment.

If we would like to name some class acts that have done more
Bart Star
Ray Nitschke
Reggie White
Curly Lambeau

When they name it farve field I'll then put his name on this list. Which surely not complete. Just some example of folks that have easily done more and deserve more credit.

we also add Lombardi. But you said player so I left it at players. If we include coaches and management

Vince Lombardi
Ron Wolf
Mike Holmgren
Tom Braats

again just to name a few. i bet others can name several more.
