Week 16 PFT mailbag

Tony Sparano

Given that many of you won’t be working on Thursday or Friday of this week (and, thus, not visiting PFT while you otherwise would be working), we’ve revised the PFT Daily timetable.

For starters, we ditched this week’s call-in show, and we gave Rosenthal a week off from the Wednesday back-and-forth.  (“Giving him the day off” sounded a lot more charitable than “pass”.)

And so we’ll wrap this week’s PFT Daily series with the mailbag show.

What am I supposed to do the rest of the week, spend time with family? I hate those people.

Who cares about Randy Moss at this point? He hasn’t done anything in months and his team isn’t making the playoffs.

Are you guys actually getting any questions?

Despite all the chatter of the past several years about how officials should be made full-time employees, I still have yet to hear a specific explanation of how they would do a better job officiating if full-time or what they would be doing for 40 hours a week/52 weeks a year.

I hope Sparano sticks around. It’s Dan Henning that needs to go.
