Patriots receiver Deion Branch missed a significant amount of practice time with a knee injury this week, but was listed as probable for Week Sixteen on Friday’s final injury report.
The Patriots confirmed Sunday morning that Branch is O.K., as he is not listed among the team’s inactives against the Bills.
New England players who will NOT play Sunday: Tight end Aaron Hernandez, guard/return specialist Dan Connolly, running back Thomas Clayton, receiver Taylor Price, defensive tackle Myron Pryor, linebacker Jermaine Cunningham, and defensive linemen Mike Wright and Brandon Deaderick.
Tom Brady is the starting quarterback, as expected.
Inactive for the Bills: Fullback Jehuu Caulcrick, tight end Mike Caussin, offensive tackle Ed Wang, offensive lineman Colin Brown, nose tackle Kellen Heard, center Geoff Hangartner, and defensive end John McCargo.
Levi Brown is Buffalo’s third quarterback.

It’s a christmas miracle.
Pats can rest all their injured players this week, next week (since #1 seed will be clinched today) and during the bye week so they can be deadly for the first playoff game in Gillette.
Tough week for Pats players, but glad we’re playing the Bills.
Tom and CO need NOT show any mercy, and put this one away early.
Get those steaks on the barbie quickly, decimating any and all Buffalo hope.
the fix is in. bills will get the cover here for “lead pipe” joe’s crew.
Dan Connolly is terrifying. Seriously.
Start Levi, we need to keep ourselves in the 4th draft spot or better.
