Shaun Hill returns to Lions’ starting lineup

Ford Field Pic

The Lions have announced their inactives and lineup changes for a Week Sixteen showdown with the Dolphins, and among them is confirmation that Shaun Hill will get the start at quarterback.

Hill has missed the last three games with a cracked finger on his right (throwing) hand. He will replace Drew Stanton, who separated his non-throwing shoulder in last week’s win over the Bucs.

With Matthew Stafford on injured reserve, Zac Robinson is listed as the third quarterback.

Inactive for Detroit: Safety Louis Delmas, running back Aaron Brown, linebacker Caleb Campbell, defensive linemen Barry Turner and Willie Young, and offensive linemen Tony Ugoh and Donald Thomas.

Meanwhile, in Miami, linebacker Karlos Dansby is the most notable scratch for Tony Sparano’s team. Dansby missed practice all week with a toe injury.

Joining Dansby in street clothes: safety Nate Ness, offensive tackle Matt Kopa, tight ends Dedrick Epps and Jeron Mastrud, defensive linemen Ryan Baker and Chris Baker, and center Eric Ghiaciuc.
