I never said I was a Falcons fan. I understand every team has it’s diehard core fans and the obnoxious bandwagoners. I live just outside of New Orleans and deal with Saints fans every day. The bandwagoners are almost unbearable and some of the diehards have forgotten the past history of these teams. They now expect the Saints to win every game and when they don’t, it must have been the refs fault or someone cheated. It wasn’t long ago that both of these franchises were fighting for last in the division.

the Saints aren’t the only team that does this, by the way. but at least you didn’t report that they urinated on the Falcons logo like some idiot whose name rhymes with Dete Disco did…

It’s really not much of a rivalry, is it?

I guess you weren’t on this site when your fan base was saying the same crap after the Falcons beat the Saints in week 3. Hypocrisy can make a man blind. Falcon fans aren’t obnoxious to Falcon fans. Don’t get me wrong, their much classier than Viking fans but don’t act holier than thou. Atlanta is the 5th largest city in the U.S. and has trouble selling out games without corporate support. New Orleans has zero corporate support and our fan base has shown up for every game since ’06 in the 3rd smallest market in football.

If you’re going to trash talk, it helps your credibility if you can spell your team’s name.

Oh, whatever. The Saints are one of the classier teams in the league – you don’t see any of the players trash talking other teams or saying stupid things, and they are all disciplined. Off the field problems are at a minimum. No divas. I would bet this celebration has a little something to do with a certain loud-mouth WR who said the “Aints” couldn’t come into the Georgia Dome and win one time. Just a little photo on the Falcons logo for some gloating. Big deal.
