The Giants are finally back home

Giantsdeplane

The Giants have landed.

After their second road trip odyssey of the month, the team finally returned to New Jersey around 11:00 a.m. ET.  The team was forced to stay in Wisconsin overnight (again) Monday before taking an early flight home Tuesday morning.

They will begin preparing on what is essentially a short week for the Redskins.  The Giants need a victory in Washington and a Packers loss to make the playoffs.

The Jets, meanwhile, got home late Monday night after flying in to Newburgh, New York.  They took buses from there, ensuring that the Jets got home before the Giants just like they made the playoffs before Big Blue.

The Giants have allowed 73 points in the last 68 minutes of game time. That’s why they won’t make the playoffs and that’s why Coughlin will soon be out of a job.

After that loss of epic proportions to the Eagles and the blowout at Green Bay, perhaps Big Blue should be hearing the memorable Jim Mora rant. Looks like a dead team walking.

Let’s see if the Giants are able to pull out a victory against the skins this week. The skins already upset one teams chances of making the playoffs last week, can they do it again? Was it a new miracle at the meadowlands or a collapse of a Giants team that appeared to be dominant on both sides of the ball??

Maybe the giants players can help queens NY dig out? because other than that. they are useless.

thanks for another horrid season Giants!! it was a pleasure.

I heard they learned how to play “Sheepshead”
So they got that going for them, which is nice.

too bad they didnt venture into a time warp that would have landed them back at home two weeks ago prior to the eagles game.

    oh…and SCREW the jets.

As a GIANTS fan you take the good with the Bad and in the case of the EAGLES game the very bad. Just always remember the good they have won 3 SuperBowls and argueably 2 of the Greatest SuperBowls ever. I believe they have a good future will see what happens.

Just allow the EAGLE fans to enjoy all of their Regular Season wins (Big Deal) until they win at least one Superbowl they are not allowed to sit at the Big Boy table with the rest of the teams from the NFC EAST. Until they do they might as well be the BROWNS or the LIONS.

    I agree with jayaredee
But lets also sit the vikes at that table with the Browns, Lions and Escum

I cheer for two teams the Giants and who ever is playing the Egals and cowboys

    @ jayardee

Wow, calm down champ. What happened, get a stale soft pretzel when you were in Philly last? Love how when things don’t go your way, you harken back to the SB’s. Yet, when “Big Blue” was playing well earlier this year, you most likely were talking in terms of the current year. Don’t worry, your “Gint’s” will stink next year too.

Load the car and write the note,
pack your bags and pack your coat,
Tell the ones that need to know,
    that we are headed North.

Oh, Brooklyn, Brooklyn, take me in..

Giant fans continue to live in the past. Steelers have 6 they have a right to crow. Giants wins over Buffalo and NE were fluke wins anyway everyone knows that.

Best part about it is that Eli will never, ever be that lucky again. And he will be QB for Giants for the next 8 years.

Just enough time for the Jets to win their 2nd and 3rd SB’s!!! Best of luck to Rex and Sanchez for another magical playoff run this year, except this time I hope they finish it right.

    @RexCanCoach
You complain about Giants fans living in the past, then you go on to crow about the Jets and the 2nd and 3rd SB they are GOING TO win?

At least we KNOW what happened in the past. Come back and brag AFTER they win those games. Unless you guaranteeing it somehow makes it an absolute certainty.

Sounds a lot like Patriots fans guaranteeing that they would finish that season 19-0. Didn’t happen, did it?

I would rather have the 3 SB victories that CANNOT be taken away, than the next two that may never appear.

time for the skins to pay back the giants for the last 4 games!

We also have that decimating win over the Packers in the 2007 NFC Championship game.. You remember, the one that ended Brett Favre’s career as a Packer?

    GOOD TALK!

Dude you sound like a complete moron.

    The NFL is about accomplishments.

The Jets have one so long ago, the video looks fake.

There’s no such thing as a FLUKE win in a Superbowl you idiot.
