I have defended many in the league who’ve been falsely accused of crimes, including sexual assault. The Eagles were flat, had a bad game, and did not run the ball enough last night. But what most of you are missing is how this could be a blessing in disguise. This game renders the last game moot, in essence GAURANTEES them a bye week to rest players. Even if they won last night and next week they still needed help to get the bye. Now they can rest all their players and still get a home game. I for one as an Eagles fan, fear no NFC team. The one that would give them the toughest matchup is the Giants. I ahve no doubts they can beat ANYONE in the NFC.

But reading these comments proves how fickle fans are.

On Nov 7 the MVP race was a tie between Antonio Gates, Philip rivers and Arian Foster. I would assume that is why they play the entire season before giving out the awards.
