Ochocinco expected to sit out again

Cincinnati Bengals v Cleveland Browns

Chad Ochocinco’s loud run in Cincinnati could be ending with a whimper.

After Ocho missed practice Wednesday, Kevin Goheen of the Cincinnati Enquirer wrote that the receiver was likely to miss the season finale in Baltimore. Before last week, Ochocinco only missed three games since 2001.

We haven’t heard much from Ochocinco since he got upset that Marvin Lewis jokingly called him “mopey.” (Which proves Lewis’ point. Florio reported that Ochocinco wants to stay in Cincinnati. Lewis expects to find out his fate by next Tuesday.

It’s sounding unlikely that either man will be back with the Bengals, but Lewis sounds like the bigger longshot.

UPDATE: Ochocinco revealed Thursday he is out this week. He won’t travel with the team for the game.
