Andre Johnson not expected to play season finale

The Texans-Jaguars game on Sunday will be missing a lot of starpower.

We told you David Garrard and Maurice Jones-Drew were out earlier in the week.  (Garrard has since been placed on injured reserve and the Jaguars officially declared MJD out on Friday.)

The Texans will likely be without their best player, as well.  Andre Johnson was declared doubtful on the injury report and coach Gary Kubiak admitted that it was unlikely Johnson would suit up.

Despite struggling with a high ankle sprain and missing three games this season, Johnson will wind up with 86 catches for 1,216 yards this season.  Johnson will likely lead the league in yards-per-game for the third time in four years.

Safety Bernard Pollard and defensive tackle Earl Mitchell are also questionable for the Texans.  Jaguars wide receiver Mike Sims-Walker is probable.

The Jaguar secondary is very happy to hear this information. Now maybe Rashean Mathis will let his children watch the game.

This will limit Foster in the running game. Charles in KC will be happy to hear this news.
