Justin Tuck involved in minor car accident

Giants defensive end Justin Tuck is at work on Saturday after being involved in a minor car accident Friday night, according to Mike Garafolo of the Newark Star-Ledger.

The accident was first reported by and occurred in New Jersey on Route 4.  Tuck, picked to the Pro Bowl this year, said that he was “fine” after the accident.

He has not been downgraded on the injury report.  The Giants will be short a few key players on Sunday, though.

Wide receiver Hakeem Nicks and center Shaun O’Hara are out, and cornerback Corey Webster didn’t practice all week.  Webster is listed as questionable.

    Tuck was driving Coughlin and Fewell to the stadium when they encountered traffic that would prevent them from arriving 5 minutes early, so Coughlin had Fewell tell Tuck to back the car back towards the previous exit and that’s when the mishap occured.

    I feel sorry for him as that is the second crash he has been in during the past 3 weeks.
