Steelers get dream start in Cleveland

B. Roethlisberger

Pittsburgh couldn’t have ask for a better start to their crucial game in Cleveland Sunday.

Browns tight end Ben Watson dropped a Colt McCoy pass on Cleveland’s first drive, tipping the ball in the air to a diving Troy Polamalu.

On the very next play, Ben Roethlisberger connected with Mike Wallace on a 64-yard touchdown.  The Steelers also forced the Browns to punt on their next drive.

Perhaps the Steelers could get Polamalu some rest this week after all if they can extend the lead.  The Steelers will be he AFC’s No. 2 seed if they beat the Browns.

UPDATE: The Steelers quickly made it a 14-0 score.

The mistake by the lake lives on! 21-3 and let the whipping continue!

I was a little surprised that Cleveland fans were talking about that 8-sack performance last season as though our first game this season didn’t happen. It’s not last season. But … my Tide were up this much on Auburn’s pro team in the Iron Bowl and lost. So won’t celebrate until the final whistle blows. WOOO Anthony Madison from Bama just intercepted McCoy. ROLL TIDE!!

Awesome game. Have the Clowns finally realized last year was a fluke, or do we have to emulsify them again?

Hahaha … Browns fans were chanting “No means no. No means no.”I remember back in July how that was supposed to haunt Roethlisberger at every away game. That had a HUGE effect on him today, huh?

Actually, I think they were saying “No means no playoffs for Browns.”

I was thinking the same thing. their were like 100 cleveland fans left in the stadium mid third quarter and that ius all they can come up with? it was more like NO offense, NO defense, NO special teams hahahahaha

Oh, were they really? I usually try to be a good sport, but if the trash was using rape as a stadium chant, they deserve to sink to the bottom of their burning river. No offense, no defense, no special teams … no class.
