Way to go, Frazier! It’s about time someone else besides the Packers stopped sucking up to Goldilocks. The Vikings became the instant joke of the league when they sent 4 players down to Hattiesburg hold the queen’s hand and escort him back to training camp. They let this queen skip training camp two years in a row.

What kind of message does that send to other players when they let other players think they’re above others and give him his own dressing room?

Hopefully Frazier has more resolve than his predecessor. I remember after Favre snubbed them 2 years ago Chilly said the door was closed. A week later he was picking Favre up at the airport.

Carson Palmer??? Are you freaking kidding me people!! He sucks … he’s never been the same since his knee injury and this year he was HORRIBLE! No way … stay away from McNabb too or someone needs to have their head examined!! Nice job last year of passing on ALL of the QB’s that were available – anyone kicking themselves for passing on Colt McCoy?? What a joke!!

I like this Frazier guy already (notice I said guy and not dude). I loved the Vikes of the Bud Grant era but not so much the wimp-a-dome era. A decent head coach and an outdoor stadium would certainly make me respect the Queens a lot more, not that the Vikes or their fans care what a Pats fan thinks.

Frazier was crystal clear on Sirius Radio yesterday when he talked about everyone needing to buy in as a team and that everyone would have to be dedicated 365. He was more than clear that he was referring to Favre without mentioning Favre.

Frazier doesn’t seem like a dumb guy. He realizes that part of the reason he has this job now is because of the way Childress allowed Favre to steam roll him. He’s closed the book on Favre in Minnesota.

For those of you that believe the Vikings will get a 1st round QB I am wondering if you have thought about their chances of receiving one. They have the 12th pick. There are several other teams picking before them that may need a QB as well. Carolina, Buffalo, Cincy, AZ, SF, Tenn. Maybe not all of them need QBs but they may.

So for the Vikings to get one of the top prospects is highly unlikely.

I see them drafting a QB in later rounds as they usually do and getting a veteran QB such as D. McNabb after Wash releases him or even trading for someone like Kevin Kolb, Kyle Orton or Carson Palmer.

I may be wrong here but unless the Vikings make a move on draft day I don’t see them using a 1st round pick on a QB simply because I don’t think one of the top tier QBs will be available.

Vikes giving Bomar a 3 yr deal means they now already have two developmental QB’s on the roster. This makes me think that they aren’t planning on drafting a QB very high.

The smart move, IMO, is not to draft a QB high right now. You have two fairly promising young guys to develop. You also have a team with some playmakers on it. Use the high picks to patch up some holes. There will actually be some okay QB’s moving around this offseason as well to bridge the gap, or even perhaps guys who could excel in a new system.
