Even if he’s a later first-round or second-round bust, he’ll still make more money in the next four years than I will in the next 30 working my job.

There’s been a lot of “unknown” QBs that turned out to be great. Warner, Brees, Brady….Mallett has every bit of chance of becoming a good pro in the NFL’s game of QB Craps. Roll the dice, kid. Even a failed NFL QB is a lot cooler than me, lol.

I don’t think there’s a whole lot going on up there in his head. He has the physical tools, but I really doubt his mental makeup. He just seems to make killer mistakes late in close games. That’s not the kind of thing that translates well to the NFL.
