Well I mean, since I was asking for original jokes concerning Rex, Ben, Vick, Spygate, etc. and you came back with that response, I would say it was more off topic than original. Hammerhead? Really…? I’m not saying this site, nor the world (I don’t even know how you tried to relate the two) should or does revolve around me. Like I said earlier, you prove my point that you should have to pass an IQ test to post here. I guess you enjoy the annoying banter and smack talk on every post. That’s fair, to each his own. On a side note, I’m not 12 and I don’t find it amusing to CONSTANTLY (from time to time its fine, but every post?) make jokes about Big Ben or Rex. It gets old.

Okay, Jets fan or not, the foot jokes are old by now. Everybody uses the same few and think they’re innovative and creative. It’s annoying to have to constantly sift through ryan foot jokes, big ben rape jokes, or vick dog jokes to find decent, well thought out comments pertaining to the topic. Yet, this thread, and many others will continue to be littered by this garbage from posters who think they’re witty and funny. The jokes are terrible, as are your contributions to this blog. You should have to pass an IQ test to post on the web. I hope people will stop worrying about all this other nonsense in the NFL and just focus on the playoffs. Also, being a reader of this site for awhile realize that probably a post 3 after mine will continue a cheesey foot joke about Rex. It’s becoming unbearable.

I understand what you are saying but we all have to put up with that crap when our team or a player or coach does stuff. Also this topic isn’t exactly one that invites deep thoughts like “how does/can team A beat Team B?” It’s Rex running his mouth again and sounding dumb. And I say that as a Pats fan who can actually appreciate Rex’s humor most of the time.

I wasn’t just talking about the Rex thing at all. Read my entire post. Include the Spygate stuff in there alone with Rex, Big Ben, and Vick. Every post on PFT has dozens of comments that aren’t relevant to anything. I agree with you that the Spygate stuff is garbage as well. Its all old news. People have had their fun with all of that, the time has passed, move on. I’m posting this as a reader, not as a Steelers, Pats, Jets, or Eagles fan. It’s annoying when this site is full of unoriginal, childish comments. For example…”I get a KICK out of Rex Ryan. He is a good football coach and has laid the footwork for a playoff team.” Did he really think that’s the first time this has been posted? Did he think this was funny? It’s garbage and annoying and most importantly, unoriginal. If anyone has a joke that I HAVE NOT heard about Ben, Vick, Rex, or Spygate, please post it. If you’re going to repeat the same poop that everyone else does, don’t waste my, or the other readers time.

It isn’t personal anymore Rex, not once you decided to upload the video to Youtube for the world to see. It is now PUBLIC. We know, and your players know. How they listen to you now without bursting into laughter is beyond me.

Your time is over. No one takes you seriously anymore, even when you ARE trying to be serious. Your lack of coaching ability was laid bare at the NE game, where you cost your team early in the game. Now you lose credibility as well.
