The four-game winning streak that ended the 2010 season for the Detroit Lions has been tempered by a claim that a member of the team committed sexual assault while possibly celebrating the team’s unlikely run of success on Monday night.

Per various media reports, an unnamed Lions player faces a claim that he had inappropriate sexual contact with a woman at the Ironwood Grill in Plymouth, Michigan.

“The police have not released the player’s identity and for that reason neither will we,” said the alleged victim’s attorney, Michael Jaafar, per FOX 2 in Detroit. “We can confirm publicly that we represent the young lady that was the victim of the assault. We can also confirm that there were many people at the bar at the time of the incident and that the player was forced to leave the bar after the incident.”

No charges have been filed.
