No fair weather fan here. I am a life long fan. How did the refs make the vikings lay the ball down more than your mom? Answer that one. Now go back to your shanty and declare the vikings sb champs for next year again. 50 years and they have won NOTHING. Maybe lord favre can come back next season. After all, all you guys were missing was a good qb to win it all. LMAO

That's beautiful. I love it. Thanks for the laugh.

As a Packers fan living in Seattle, I have to first give credit to the 'Hawks for the win, but secondly say this that this is absolutely a horrible turn of events.

Firstly: What a great all-time upset. I wanted Seattle to lose, and I actually lost quite a bit of money on the game, but it's such a great storyline it's hard to get upset.

What a time to show up to play. Where has this team been all season? They play like that again, they will make quite a run this year.

I was shocked by the number of people saying the Saints gave them the game, what an epic chokefest, almost of Minnesotan proportions, and many other things.

I don't know what game they were watching. I only saw two major mistakes on defense by the Saints, and one stupid playcall on 4th down. Otherwise, they played as good as anyone could have. That isn't choking. That's losing to a superior team, and I take off my hat.

Now for the second part. Despite all of the above, I absolutely hate this win. Now I have to abide all sorts of Seahawks followers that curiously weren't here, in their own city, two weeks ago.

Latte-swilling, hybrid-driving morons, all of them. They haven't watched any sports team save the Sounders (that's anti-American jihadist soccer, for those who don't live in Seattle) since '05. Yet, now it's time to clear the cobwebs off their hats and Alexander jerseys and act like they've been fans this whole time.

They seriously rival the Vikings faithful in terms of bandwagon jumping. No other team comes close to those two. That fact, along with their famous pumped-in crowd noise, is a disgrace to the entire league.

Seattle "fans", let me say this while I still can, before you disappear for another five years. If you can't be bothered to support your team when they suck, and they certainly do plenty of that, you have NO business whatsoever getting on board when they win a playoff game.

This lifelong Packers fan is seriously considering rooting for the hated Bears this week, just so you guys get back in your rabbit holes and quit harassing actual, loyal fans of other teams all that much sooner. I'm torn.

Once again though, congrats to the actual team (not the fans) for pulling off that win. Definitely an all-time great one that will be replayed for years to come.

@vikesfansteve, well we’re all glad you could get some satisfaction with your disastrous, p*enisgate ruined season.

@help me, no how about you and your seabags suck it, your sorry ass team would’ve loss had the game been in the Superdome. There is no justification for a team with 4 fewer wins hosting a game other than that rule needs to be changed.

You got lucky the Saints were so banged up at key positions they couldn’t put their best foot forward. I never had anything against Seattle but now I’ll enjoy seeing you get your asses handed to you next weekend :)

As a Saints fan it's tough to watch a very average team have their biggest game of the year and put us out. The Saints are pretty beat up but still should have handled Seattle easily. I guess that's why we play the games. Last year the Saints really wanted it and you felt it, this year, though they tried, the same intensity just wasn't there. This will be Seattle's 15 minutes of fame, I suspect they will be stomped in the next round.

"This was Hasselbeck’s tenth playoff game in an underrated career. "

Not to take this win away from him, but he as been a horribly overrated quarterback during his entire career.

With the exception of the 2008-2009 Cardinals (barely) the last competitive team to come out of the NFC West was the 2001 Rams--Seattle was an AFC west team, then.

So Matt has never really played in a competitive division, let alone conference. I might be wrong, but I think he only has one season with double digit wins. And he plays in a high percentage passing offense and still produces mediocre numbers--and that's at the very top of his game..

I would HATE to have him as my qb. He's not good enough to win, but he's just good enough to keep him around forever. His departure will be a blessing for Seattle.

With that being said, he played the best game of his career against a pretty overrated, banged up, and altogether not that good Saints defense.
