Michael Vick truly took over the quarterback position in Philadelphia at halftime of Week One, down 13-3 against the Packers.

Four months later, Vick trails Green Bay 14-3 at halftime after a dominating 30 minutes from the Packers. In Week One, Vick made it awfully interesting before coming up short on a possible game-tying drive late in the fourth quarter. This task could be even tougher.

If not for a James Jones drop late in the half, the Packers would be up 21-3. Packers coach Mike McCarthy also did the Eagles defense a favor by not aggressively trying to score at the end of the first half.

The Packers have 13 first downs to only five for the Eagles. James Starks is running the ball well for Green Bay. Vick needs to pull off some Meadowlands-like magic and get a lot more help from his defense to continue his remarkable season another week.

UPDATE: The Eagles defense forced a Aaron Rodgers fumble on Green Bay’s first drive of the third quarter. Eagles ball.

UPDATE II: Two plays later, Vick found Jason Avant for a touchdown. We’ve got a ballgame.
