Two days after the Bucs officially brought back coach Raheem Morris, G.M. Mark Dominik is also back in the fold.

Rick Stroud of the St. Petersburg Times reports the team picked up the one-year option on Dominik’s contract. Morris’ option was for the next two years at $2 million-per-season.

Most NFL teams would give Morris and Dominik a pay raise and extend their original deals following Tampa’s impressive 10-6 season. It’s possible there have been talks about new contracts for the Bucs’ leaders, but none have leaked out through the media.

The option being picked up caps a great week for Dominik, which was surely highlighted by his appearance on ProFootballTalk Live.
