and drafted #1 by Mangini... ProBowl later...

Mangini got the shaft in Cleveland by another loser named Holmgren who wanted a yes man.

Funny how the Stillers showed Holmgren their SuperBowl winning touchdown again last week Week 17, same players: Randle El to Hines Ware... TD !

Holmgren had to poop ! Mangini fired ! you all got short memories of Herm Edwards team of 4-12 that Mangini took over, went 10-6 to the Playoffs

Cleveland is a fool... now they hire an OC, the fans are happy to get rid of having one of the lowest rated offenses

Rex is probably still crying about Charles Woodson being named DPOY last year…

--------------------------------------

Now this year the DPOTY is the "Claymaker" Clay Matthews.

Old fatboy Rexy seems to be trying to convince himself and the fans though the media that his team is better than the Pats eventhough everyone is really laughing at the continuous drivel.

Hey Rexy how did your pass defense finish up? I believe the Pack had twice the interceptions and led in every pass defense category there was. Didn't you use this as a reason Woodson wasn't worthy of the honor last year but yet you claim Revis is the best when your pass defense is not that good? Hypocrite

Brady is going to make you look foolish again.

Patsfan1213, you clearly do not know what you are talking about. Beyond the clearly 2 different styles of play, how many times has McCourty gotten scorched this year? When Revis gets burnt people go nuts, it doesn't happen often. Before you even bring up your Randy Moss drivel, save it. Revis was hurt. He's been lights out since becoming 100%.

But the pats will kill the jets right? Just like they did in wk 2 right? New game scrap the first two. Well see who’s better Sunday

Rex’s trash talking is getting beyond annoying. I can’t stand the Patriots, but almost want to root for them to win, just to shut him the hell up. I say almost, but I really want the Jets to win, & of course the Steelers to win (over the Ravens) – then the Steelers can shut him the hell up on Super Bowl Sunday.

Here’s hopin’ !

If 45-3 didn't shut them up, a playoff loss won't either.

82 tackles, seven interceptions, one sack, two forced fumbles, and 17 passes defensed in 16 games played, all starts. Those are the stats of Pat's ROOKIE, Devin McCourty. He already has half the INTs than Revis has CAREER-wide.

Compare that to Revis' 87 tackles, ZERO interceptions, ZERO sacks, ZERO forced fumbles, and 10 passes defended. And he's a THIRD year guy!

Wake up, Jets homers. Revis isn't even the best corner in the division, nevermind the best player in the league.

Most people will probably disagree, but I think a true shutdown corner is more valuable than an elite QB.

The foot comments and fat comments are getting pretty old two. ...Keep hatin cause Rex is gonna shove his FOOT up Brady and belicheats a** Sunday!!

1)So you would prefer Revis over lets say Brady or Manning .... A corner can impact a given receiver on a play. A QB impacts the entire offense.
You are entitled to your opinion but I'm glad you are not coaching a team I follow.
2) So you are tired of foot comments that are around a month old and not only do you use one but you had a play on Belichick's name??? Practice a percent of what you preach. By the way, spy gate was almost 4 years ago. Think this is getting old? I will admit that your version of his name was extremely funny and I'm still laughing. Has anyone thought of this before? Are you a professional comedian??? I guess your comments are easier for you than saying something intelligent.

how can someone take deepbacksidegig seriously when he posts stats that aren't even true..

Special Teams TD:
Pats 3 Jets 0

Oh really? You sure about that? There's this guy named Brad Smith.. i suggest you check out his numbers.

On the other hand, maybe I'll just make up some nice fake numbers myself: Jets are better on offense because Sanchez had 45 touchdowns, which was more than Brady and the Jets led the league in every category.

On defense the Jets led the league in interceptions and sacks so they definitely have the advantage there as well. You're right.. this is a fun game to play!

lol you couldn't be more wrong. Rivers threw in Revis's direction 4 times in that playoff game, completing one pass for negative yards. Then after the game Norv Turner said he's the best corner in the league by far and they game planned to stay away from him. On one of those 4 passes, Revis had an interception. So you have no idea what you are talking about.. go look it up.

You are the stupidest poster here that I've seen, by far, and that is really saying something. Comparing Green-Ellis to LT just shows how dumb you are. Why don't you throw in receiving stats and show how LT blows him away? Or how he played for the #1 offense in the league making things much easier for him?

Your points are so obviously retarded that I almost don't want to reply because I feel kind of bad for you. It was Revis's job to stop Brady from going 21-28, huh? All Revis? Good call moron! According to profootballfocus, guess how many times Brady threw at Revis that game? ZERO!!! But yeah he stinks because he didn't bat any of those ZERO passes down, and didn't intercept any of those ZERO passes thrown at him. Clearly you have no clue what you are talking about and I'm guessing you are one of those moron fans who can't even name 5 players on the whole team without looking it up. Obviously you don't know anything about football and how it's played.

Though will say on Mon night game vs NE, he did get a hand on Branch’s TD….Sorry guys, Revis leads league in whiffs on running plays.

Rexy is losing it….NE makes him incoherant.

You couldnt be more wrong. Revis is one of the most physical corners in the league. Its part of what makes him so great. He is nothing like Deion in that respect.

Revis is a good corner, but not the best. Even Very good. Ryan on the other hand, is not a very good coach. With the talent on that team they could have easily stayed even with the Pats, but Ryan continues to make bad coaching decisions. He forces players to play things his way, rather than modding his plays to the strengths of the players.

Which is why Cromartie gets victimized. As noted Saturday Cromartie is best at bump and run, but fails when he is forced to play in space. He gets burned.

So say Revis covers Branch all day. Great. Is Tate gonna just burn Cromartie? Is Welker simply going to cut and leave him in the dust? Are Gronkowski and Hernandez gonna give the linebacking corps fits? Are the Jets gonna blitz and get burned by the short pass, law firm, and Woodhead? Or are they gonna back off like they did in Indy and give Brady all the time in the world to cut them apart?

Are they going to run the ball against Wilfork? Or are they going to rely on Sanchez to finally get on target? If Sanchez is off, it isn't going to be a matter of receivers adjusting to the ball. It is going to be a matter of McCourtey (7 more INTs than Revis), Merriwather, et al. intercepting him all day?

Rex can't coach well. During the last game he single handedly let the game get out of control early, and his team sank. If this game gets out of hand early, it is going to be a LONG day for the Jets.

They COULD keep it close with all the talent they have, but I don't see it happening.

Ladanian Tomlinson: 914 yards
BJGE: 1008 yards

WHO stinks?????

sanchize6 says:
lol way to discredit yourself there, pal. Just make yourself look like an idiot, that’s fine with me.

And yeah he was on the field during the 45-3 game.. yet he didn’t give up a catch. Somehow that means he isn’t great and it was because of him they gave up those points?

You shouldn’t talk about things you have no idea about, and clearly football and cornerbacks are 2 things you don’t have a clue on. You should stick to things that I assume you do know about.. like Tom Brady’s hair and wearing your pink #12 jersey.

--------------------------------------------------------
Yeah, we could tell how great Revis was that day by all the interceptions he didn't make, and the countless passes he didn't bat away ....... Brady was what, 21 of 28 that day? Think he threw at least a COUPLE of themRevis' way, chump?

Revis that day was worth every nickel of the millions they're paying him, huh? Big "game breaker" HE was. Yeah, I DO know a couple of things about cornerbacks, like they're supposed to keep the opposing QB from going 21/28 for 326 yards.

Moron.
