A year ago, Kevin Ellison had finished his first season in the NFL. Appearing in 13 games for the Chargers and starting nine, Ellison had a bright future in the NFL.
Then, he was arrested with 100 Vicodin pills and zero prescriptions.
The Chargers thereafter cut him loose, the Seahawks gave him a chance, and his former college coach, Pete Carroll, cut the cord before the start of the regular season.
Out of football in 2010, the charges against Ellison have been dropped, according to Kevin Acee of the San Diego Union-Tribune.
He says he wants chance to rejoin the NFL and “show teams who I am again.”

He was caught with 100 Vicodin and had NO prescription, but the charges against him were DROPPED?
Man, that is some kind of lawyer!
Legalize it
drug laws only apply to minorities, the young, and the poor…and being rich cancels the first two out…
I’d be sitting in the cross bar hilton if I got caught with 100 Vicodin.
I know I speak for everybody when I say.. Who????????????????????
Apparantly the arresting officer overdosed and couldn’t testify.
It is hard to imagine why they would drop the charges. Was he a first time offender? Did he work out a deal, maybe turning in his dealer / go to rehab? I could certainly see them tossing the case out if he never had done anything wrong and he helped break up a bigger operation.
“Hey Kevin, it’s Jamarcus Russell on the phone… He wants your lawyer’s phone number.”
What’s the lawyers name….Maybe the Favre’s can get a family discount?

You are who we thought you were when you got busted, idiot.
well at least we know what some these guys do with their money. first spend it on drugs and second hire the best lawyers so when are busted with the drugs you get off scott free!
