Raiderrob, it’s hard for us niners fans to come back at you with anything since the Raiders are an example of how a lofty highly functional classy establishment stays in perpetual contention year after year with no whifs on very high draft picks. Your future HOF coach currently running your team is coveted by all the other teams, he’s a mastermind and a class act, just like your young , handsome & very intelligent owner, not to mention the franchise quarterback who beats us everytime our teams play each other especially the last 3 games, and Namdi asomgwaaaa??? Says hi!!!!!!!

The Niners were supposed to own that division the last three years. I never took them as more than a .500 team since all the talk began with Singletary. Of course, I didn’t know .500 could take that division either.

They’ve got some ground to cover before we start handing them the coveted NFC West crown. They are no further down the road to answering their QB questions than Arizona (or Seattle, once Hasselbeck’s hip blows out), I know that. Should have kept Hill.

I think we need to get our own house in order, before we call out , S.F. Need I remind you we lost to them at Candlestick? Good hire, and S.F. should be respectable. Will be good to see the two former college coaches , Carroll and Harbaugh getting after it. Should be a fun rivalry.

I’d be mad too if the team across the bay caused my HC to be fired, and while 31 other teams are looking at personnel moves, the Raiders don’t even have a HC. Only Al was dumb enough to hire Kiffin and now you just get to watch another prodigy go across the bay. Ouch…. Just win..Maybe!

Great move by bringing in your college buddies! Worked great for Butch Davis, Steve Spurrier, Bobby Petrino and Nick Saban. Especially effective if you plan to be coaching college again in 3 years or less.

It came out later that Donatell called a blitz on the 4 and 26th play (which makes sense…force a quick throw and tackle), but Sherman overroad him and went prevent.

I still don’t blame Donatell for 4th and 26. It was one play that, yeah, should have been stopped but there were plenty of plays that lost that game for the Packers.

It’s a scheme that is run but it is run by players and not coaches. The players should have made the play.

OR, why can’t we just call it a good play by McNabb? He threw it right where it needed to be; just over the dropping MLB and between the two safeties.

I think Ed Donatell is a good coach railroaded by one play.
