The Jets invested too much in beating the Pats.It was like SB week between you guys with all the posturing and media. Didn’t go to New England with a loose,care free attitude like Packers did in Atlanta.Sorry Jets fans, yesterday was your SB and you did great.Just won’t be enough in the tank to go to Pitt and chalk up another win.Steelers go to the SB.

Love the Steelers in the rematch. You can only get so far with an average QB, as the Pats proved yesterday. Brady was exposed for the overrated dink/dunker that he is. What did he complete, one pass that went more than ten yards in the air? And that with a wide open, clean pocket, per usual.

Watching the Jets turn Tom Brady into little boy lost put a smile on my face. But, now I hope the Steelers get their revenge next Sunday in Pittsburgh. Should be a good game. And, Steeler fans should not think this is a good scenario. The Jets have a great defense and the Steelers offensive line has been banged up. We lost to them once already this year. Don’t disrespect. Just go out there and play your game and beat them.

The Jets are in for a totally different experience. It’s one thing to smash up an offensive minded team like the Patriots, but the Steelers LIVE for teams like the Jets. A run first, defense oriented opponent. This offense plays, and regularly beats Baltimore. Everyone talking about the epic Jets pass rush, remember, the Steelers face that 2-3 times a year in Baltimore. Going up against a top ranked defense and slugging it out is our bread and butter.

As for the Jets offense, they are in for a treat on Sunday. We aren’t the Patriots. You won’t run on us, period. And I don’t like Sanchez to win the game with Troy sniffing around the backfield.

There’s a huge difference in gameplanning a team you play twice a year, in your third meeting, then one you only played once and got a lucky win out of.

Remember, that game was an uncalled holding (Sanders had a TD) and dropped pass from a back up TE away from being a Steelers win.

This game will be decided by Heath Miller. Ben didn’t have his dump off man against the Jets the first time. He had Matt “Ping Pong Paddles” Spaeth. Heath is one of the most dangerous and underrated tight ends in the league and he will become a star on Sunday.

For the last two weeks all I have heard was Patriot fans summing up potential NFC opponents for their “given” Super Bowl appearance. They never even considered they actually might have to win a game or two in the AFC playoffs first. Hey Pats fans: Playoff appearances and Super Bowls are not a birthright. Even Indy played the Jets a closer game. Good riddance.

Jeez, I can’t believe people *still* are trying to explain this, point by point. As if laying all this out is gonna make anyone who thinks Ben got away with something change their mind. Trust us, we all know exactly what happened and what all the facts are. My own personal opinion is that he didn’t rape anyone- but because of all the allegations of everything from being at least a bit over-forceful win women to all the people who came out and just said he was a royal a-hole, there’s gotta be *something* to *some* of those allegations. Sounds like the dude is just a egomaniacal sumbag.

Funny how, when the chips were down, all those local Pittsburgh restaurant/bar/car wash/whatever owners or employees were like “The guy is a huge dick”, but now that their a game away from the SB, he’s Mother Theresa. Hilarious.

But seriously, he can win this SB and the next couple- but just the allegations of things that may or may not have happened alone are enough to make his HoF ballot a tough sell.

Steelers won’t take the Jets lightly since the Jets beat them in Pittsburgh a few weeks ago.

Having Polamalu back on defense and Heath Miller on offense is huge since Mat Spaeth was targeted way too many times in that game.

Being a Steeler fan, I’ll say this.. The Jets surprised me, not once, but twice. Beating Manning and Brady in back-to-back weekends is a feat, and you must give credit where credit is due. But come Sunday, I think they’re in for a little more than they may be able to handle. Pittsburgh is coming off an incredible win against Baltimore last night, and I think that momentum is going to carry over until next week. The last time these two teams met, they were without Troy Polamalu and Heath Miller, and yet they were a tipped pass away from beating them. The Jets are not going to be able to run the football, and thus the game will be put into Sanchez’s hands, and I’m not so sure he’s capable of beating that defense. Not to mention the fact that the game will be played in Pittsburgh, and believe you me, it will matter come Sunday. Ask Baltimore about that crowd. I was there last night and that place was literally shaking. I’ve been to quite a few Steeler games in my day and it was never louder. Wait until next week when there’s even more at stake. Best of luck to the Jets, but Roethlisberger will not be beat this year. If you need proof of that, watch the Ravens game.
