Getty ImagesThe Seahawks are having a nightmare start to their game in Chicago.
Tight end John Carlson landed hard on his neck and head when going out of bounds early in the first quarter. He was carted off the field to the locker room shortly after that.
The Bears took the lead 7-0 less than three minutes into the game. Tight end Greg Olsen easily beat Lawyer Milloy for a 58-yard touchdown on a third down throw by Jay Cutler. The Bears didn’t have a third down conversion the entire last game against Seattle.
Cameron Morrah will take over all the tight end snaps for the Seahawks.
UPDATE: Carlson has been ruled out for the game with a head injury. He does not have a spine-related injury, which is great news.

Really, when was the last time they played themselves?
Lets hope NO player ever gets ‘real’ hurt, just enough to have to leave the game…

Welcome to the frozen tundra!
Good to hear he is ok, that looked bad.

So much for upset now biotches!
Seattle hasn’t played a cold weather game this year.
It’s showing, that’s what home field is about!
Rodgers just peed himself a little.
Ugly, ugly landing!
Just hope he’ll be OK
Rodgers peed himself because the Bears are showing they can beat this pitiful Seahawks team? Lol; just lol.
This game sucks.
Thoughts go out to Carlson.
Bears look good so far!!…Hawks killing themselves as usual. Still have time though.
TE John Carlson is one TOUGH dude, I just hope the injury is NOT serious.
GO HAWKS!!
Anyone else notice the Soldier Field music choice when he was down? Enter Sandman by Metallica. Stay classy Chicago.
This game is a joke. Bears are the luckiest team in the NFL.
The Seahawks are who we thought they were!
No, shibbyleigh is right…the Bears ARE the luckiest team in the NFL!

All you can do on any given Sunday is beat the team you are playing against.
Father have your hand on Carlson and let Hume be okay. Oh ya the bears suck
“Anyone else notice the Soldier Field music choice when he was down? Enter Sandman by Metallica. ”
They also played parts of “One” and “For Whom The Bell Tolls” a few minutes before the injury. Big frigging deal.
Bulls also play “Enter Sandman” before tip-off. What a bunch of jerks, am I right?
