The Seahawks are having a nightmare start to their game in Chicago.

Tight end John Carlson landed hard on his neck and head when going out of bounds early in the first quarter. He was carted off the field to the locker room shortly after that.

The Bears took the lead 7-0 less than three minutes into the game. Tight end Greg Olsen easily beat Lawyer Milloy for a 58-yard touchdown on a third down throw by Jay Cutler. The Bears didn’t have a third down conversion the entire last game against Seattle.

Cameron Morrah will take over all the tight end snaps for the Seahawks.

UPDATE: Carlson has been ruled out for the game with a head injury. He does not have a spine-related injury, which is great news.
