Ok I’m sick of all the trash talk against the bears, they won the NFC north, the packers can’t do anything offensively against them, the packers won what 10 to 3? ok one mistake by the packers could’ve changed the entire game, there’s 4 teams left, 1 the bears and 2 the bears beat (packers and jets). when the good jay comes out, all those critics will be Filing for unemployment. And one of thing is why is their no credit to the bears they made it all this way?

The Packers did make one mistake. Greg Jennings dropped a perfect pass when he was wide open that would have made it 17-3.

As excited as I was Saturday night that excitement was gone by Sunday morning. Let’s not forget who we have to play on Sunday and where. That Chicago defense is a menace and their going to have their home crowd to juice them up. Our defense can cause havoc as well but Cutler will have the luxury of operating a Mike Martz offense in the equivalent of NFL silence. Their base 4-3 gave us fits in week 17. You can throw out the tape for week 3 because these are two totally different teams now. Notice I said their base 4-3. They didn’t do much of anything to pressure rodgers with anyone else. They didn’t need to. They dropped seven and got good pressure on Arod with their front four. The best way to attack a cover 2 is to run and have success. Well teams dont run on the feckin bears and teams that have no running game certainly dont. This isnt Philadelphia. This isnt a 70 degree dome. This week is absolutely not a given and I honestly cannot believe they are favored. I promise you scoring 10 points at home 2 weeks ago against this team will not be good enough in that hostile spaceship. Wind will wreck havoc on our passing game so lets pray there isnt much. Special teams matchups?? Thats laughable. Curb your enthusiasm. These players need to be humbled some.

I couldn’t have said it better myself!! Lets pray that Starks can be some what effective! Pack fans need to mellow out a bit, as this will be one tough game!!! Bears are a team the I have, and always will, respect tremendously! That being said, I cannot wait for Sunday…….

The two teams that are there deserve to be there, and that they have two of the best fan bases in football (not to mention their storied histories) make this one of the great playoff game buildups in the last decade… hopefully the game will be half as good as the hype.

Whoever wins this game is the team I’ll be rooting for in the Super Bowl.

Pervy, why would you try to use a game that your team lost to prove a point? All you did is prove I am right when I said the Vikings don’t matter and never will, cause they can’t ever win the big game………..

All of that said, the Bears are now a much better team than they were for the first 2/3rds of the season. Their defense is excellent, and their offense is generally competent (including a decent running game).

They are not better than the Packers, but they are good enough that the game could go their way if the Pack doesn’t take care of their own business.

So here’s hoping the Packers players and coaches get their heads on straight this week, and play their hearts out in Chi-town. If they do it should be good enough for a solid win. If not…it could get ugly.

That’s right. No more Ted hating from me. I am man enough to admit when I’m wrong, and I’m extremely glad to know I was wrong.

As all Pack fans know, if they don’t win it all, this year is ultimately a failure. Even if that should happen, I still have to like this team’s chances going forward, so long live that white-haired recluse.

It’s not a matter of bandwagoning. I was a Packers fan in the pathetic 80′s, I was a Packers fan through the annual playoff chokes of the latter Favre years, and even when still I didn’t think Ted knew talent from a hole in the ground, I still wanted the Packers to win. They are my team, after all.

Clearly you’ve never been to Seattle. It smells like rotten fish and bird droppings, not wet dog. It also rains every single day, but I’m okay with that. I wish the game was here too. Not only then could I be there in person, but we’d also be a lock to win it. There is no predicting any Bears-Pack game, particularly one of this significance.

Congrats to the Bears and Pack — both teams played well this weekend and deserve to be in the championship game. However, us Vikings fans are in a dilema though — who in the hell do we root for? A tie? For Soldier Field to be swallowed by a giant sinkhole? We’re in a dilema here in MN.

I can’t imagine how hard that must be. I have enough of a bad time when it’s Bears-Vikings or Bears-Cowboys in the regular season. At least then it CAN end in a tie. This is playoffs, with a Super Bowl on the line, and potentially unlimited overtimes. That’s got to be eating all of you up inside.

Just um, detach your understandable dislike for both teams and just hope for a really good game, I guess. I certainly expect it to be.

If the Bears should win this week, they’ll have my full support to win the Super Bowl. Even as painful as it may be for me, they’ll have most certainly earned it at that point.

In the meantime however, I hope they get blown out in front of their home crowd worse than Atlanta did.

Why would the Bears play their starters the whole game if they did not “try”? Why risk injuring their studs for a meaningless game? Does not add up…..

The Bears DID try because they knew the Packers were the best team vying for the final wild card spot…..And they want no part of the Pack….

I do see the Packers winning this one, much in the same fashion the Bears did to the Seahawks yesterday. That field is an absolute joke, and that plays into the Packer’s strength more so than the Bears’ from an offensive standpoint. I see Cutler having a handful of brainfarts (like yesterday’s color-blindness at the goal-line), and the Packers will take advantage of that.

The Bears are in no way near the offensive powers that Philly and Atlanta both posessed…and Philly and Atlanta both had top tier defenses, like the Bears. This game is over by the 4th quarter.

The Bears beat Philly at home in week 12 31-26, and Cutler had 4 touchdowns in the game. If he shows up and has the protection The Bears can win.

And that was 7 more than the Bears “mustered”. The Packers defense is every bit as good as the Bears and their offense is by far the superior of the two teams. The only thing you can hope for is some big returns from Hester. If Masthay kicks like he did in December, you’ll have no “offense” this time around either.

I’d like to congratulate the Bears and Packers. Since the Vikings took the North the 2 previous years it is nice to let you fans feel some of our success.

What success?
One of these teams is going to the Super Bowl… something the Vikings have not seen in 34 years.
The Bears and Packers have 21 championships between them.
That would be 21 more than the Vikings just in case you can’t find a calculator pervy.

First of all they have no injuries. Probably the least injured team in the league.

Secondly they played 3 games where they played against the other teams 3rd string QB.

Third, they were able to play a losing team at home in the playoffs.

Then there was the first Lions game where Calvin Johnson beat them but the refs took it away.

Also, in the first game against the Packers, it took 18 penalties (that took away 2 turnovers) and a bad bounce fumble that allowed the Bears to win by 3.

That said the Bears are a decent team that is playing well. They could beat the Packers. I do believe that Cutler will give the Pack multiple opportunities for interceptions. If they take care of the ball on their end they win.
