Kenny P. looked like he was trying to “have fun” when tackling Brent Celek which led to a 65 yd. TD to a TE. Biggest play of the collapse game if you ask me. He had an “ok” year and should listen to his coaches and STFU if he wants to be something special.

Thats two strikes against Rolle in my book with his loud mouth. One more and I say trade him to Buffalo and tell him to have a blast.

while i agree they shouldnt be saying this to the media, they are however both correct.

coughlin is absolutely terrible. he did not win the giants a super bowl. if you think he did you’re a moron.

the giants wont he 07 super bowl because of STEVE SPAGNUOLO

Two players with loads of talent but they need to learn when and how to address an issue like this. They do make a few valid points, but discussing them with the media is not the way to deliver the message. Rolle made a lot of big plays this year but he also gave up his fair share as well as being very outspoken often against the coaches. Phillips still needs to really prove himself before he can call out a Superbowl champion coach. This is not what the Giants need right now considering many of them think they should still be playing.

I wouldn’t say that a team that went 10-6, and has made the playoffs (including a SB win) 5 of the last 7 years is horrible.

Have the last 2 years been disappointing? Sure, after excellent starts. But to classify a team as horrible, you can start looking at teams like Cincy, Oakland, and Buffalo first. It would take a while till you got to the Giants.

Oh man, this is not good for us Giants fans.

Keep in mind this griping is coming from a secondary that during the last 3, and most crucial games of the season, gave up pass plays of 33, 36, 38, 64, 65 and 80 yards! So 6 pass plays of 30+ yards in 3 games! Amazing.

Now it’s Coughlin’s fault because he doesn’t let them have fun? Gimme a break.

I ask you Mr. Phillips and Mr. Rolle – Do you think that’s “fun” for Coughlin? Or how much fun is it for us fans watching you guys chase wide receivers to the goal line every weekend? Oh, by the way, us idiots even PAY you to do it. It’s not fun and it’s not funny. Jerks.

Although antagonists love to down play what Rex is doing in Newyork, which by the way is nothing short of amazing. (Tell me another coach/team that could handle Peyton then confuse Brady the week after- IN THE PLAYOFFS I might add) However you have to admit he sells a product that current players are buying. I remember a post PFT put up several weeks ago that polled players and asked who they would love to play for, and Rex won convincingly. Although these guys were wrong for calling out their coach because at the end of the day it’s up to you to make the plays to win. However its evident that Rex’s style of coaching is infectious and works for todays player. I love it, all free agents are welcome

I don’t care either way about these teams or coaches, but it’s ridiculous for these players to say this in the media. They may have the opportunity to play for Rex or any other coach soon.

Hmmmm, did these players not hear Rex call out his defense after I believe the Miami game in which they gave up maybe 10 points? Those defensive players sure didn’t seem like running through a wall for him then, in fact they seemed quite miffed that Rex was placing the blame squarely on their shoulders.

What these 2 said almost the entire team thinks with the exception of Chris Snee, David Diehl and Shaun O’Hara.

This was one of the best teams in thye league and Coughlin could not handle them.
