The Eagles need to resign Vick to a long term contract and then trade Kolb who is only 4 years younger than Vick while Kolb has value.And then draft another QB and they can develop him and Kafka who is as good as Kolb to be the QB when Vick retires.

But what if there is no franchise tag? Then if he can’t be signed before March 4th, and cannot be tagged, then he will have much more leverage. I think Mike Vick will sign for 5 years and $75 million, with $35 million guaranteeed.

Everyone comes on here and tries to be funny and there are some very clever people on here. However like 90% of you are unbelievably corny. The corniest people are usually the ones that try to make dog jokes. I love this new thumbs up/ thumbs down thing because now these people can see how unfunny they are and feel like losers

I would like to see Kolb go to Frisco. I think he’d be a good fit for that young, potentially explosive offense. 49ers O-line should be improved next season and they have some weapons at the skill position with Gore, Westbrook, Crabtree, VD, and Josh Morgan. I live in Northern California and I go to a few 9er games every year and I wouldn mind watching some former Eagles have some success on another team as long as they’re not playing against Philly. It was nice to see Danny Amendola make some big plays for St. Louis because he wasnt going to get much playing time on the Eagles roster.

Yeah, how did the narrative become “Kolb sucks”.

Because he got KO’d by a Packers defense that also make Matt Ryan and many other fine QB’s look bad?

Because he got hurt?

Because he happened to be on the same team as Vick, who had an amazing season and was positively brilliant at times (DC, NYG)?

Is he gonna be great? No.

Could he be like Flacco – who is overly protected and checks down constantly and plays on a team with great defense? Why not!?!

The Eagles front office is too bright to sign him to a long-term deal. I see him being franchised and not being happy about not getting a long term deal. He still owes a few people money if my math is correct.

Tough to say Kolb “did not work out…” He didn’t really have a chance. He beat the Falcons as a starter and has had considerable success when given a fair chance. Vick rightly denied hm that chance, but don’t hold that against Kevin.

Mike, you keep writing about Mike Vick when is he going to get signed. I think we all know he will get signed, or that he will for sure stay with the eagles. The eagles can only work with Mike Vick, obviously Kevin Kolb did not work out as much.
