Steelers safety Troy Polamalu return to a full practice Friday, and is listed as probable on the injury report despite missing two days of work because of his injured Achilles.
Defensive end Aaron Smith (triceps) is listed as doubtful, while cornerback Bryant McFadden (abdomen) and safety Will Allen (knee) are questionable. McFadden fully practiced Friday and looks likely to play.
For the Jets, defensive end Shaun Ellis was added to the injury report as questionable with a knee injury after missing practice Friday. Ellis told reporters he’ll play. Cornerback Drew Coleman (knee), safety James Ihedigbo (knee), and wideout Brad Smith (groin) are all questionable.
They should all be ready to go. Nine players were listed as probable, including cornerback Darrelle Revis.
And with that injury report out of the way, the Jets and Steelers are just about ready to disappear until gametime.
As if there was any doubt 43 would play
100% or not Ellis will play for sure.
worried about 43, didn’t seem right at ravens game
Had he been listed as questionable, you may have had a story. As it is, not so much.
Best news in this story is about McFadden. I was afraid he wouldn’t be able to go and Gay would be starting. Bad news if that was the case. McFadden isn’t great by any means but he is far superior to Gay.
The guy has a serious injury. This isn’t an ankle sprain. He could go out there and blow an achilles.
DIFFERENCE MAKER
When healthy, sure. Now? Anyone’s guess.
Will Ellis now have an excuse if Pouncey dominates him? Intedezting.
I guess Ellis can really handle Pouncy now.
As in…he’s probable to pick off the ball for a touchdown this Sunday?
.
hines ward focus is jets smoke screen and this is the steelers smoke screen
