I believe the Dolphins and their fans DESERVE Daboll.

While Heath may not be HoF material, I figure he knows a lot more than me...having worked around Daboll.

But then, the same could be said about Ryan going to Dallas. The Cowboys deserve Ryan and his talents.

Hopefully, these 2 knucklehead coordinators will learn the game is played for 2 halves, or 60 minutes.

Why would anyone care what Heath Evans has to say? Oh by the way Heath, how did the Browns do against your team, the defending (not for long) champion Saints?

*********************************************

You and all the other nobodies in here, who seem to think Heath Evans in an NFL nobody just because you don't know the Saints' players for the past two seasons like real Saints fans do, can just bite your ignorant tongues please! Oh, and by the way, get ready to eat your "not for long" words regarding the Saints' trip to the SB in 2010, because they will be back again soon and often, and will win it again too! Just wait!

Sounds like he’s still pissed off that Daboll was one of the only OCs to absolutely embarrass the Saints earlier this year.

====

NPS already covered it pretty well, but you would have to just have looked at the final score to think that the Cleveland offense in any way shape or form "embarrassed" the Saints defense.

The Browns offense had a whopping 210 yards for the entire game - Colt McCoy threw 85 yards. In the entire game. The Browns had ONE offensive TD, which was a 4-yard run by Peyton Hillis after a pass interference call got the Browns down to near the goal line. The Browns offense did very little of anything that game.

The Saints offense and special teams were definitely embarrassed, but the Saints defense was absolutely NOT.

Maybe Brian Daboll and the offense had a great game against New England, but they had a very mediocre one against New Orleans.

"Evans added, however, that he has nothing personally against Daboll.

I shudder to think what Evans would say about a coach he regarded as a bad dude."

Typical media windbag. You whine and complain when guys give you canned statements they most likely don't believe, but when they actually speak their mind intelligently and give you their honest opinion, you take a swipe at them for doing so.

It’s *gotta* hurt when a no-brain-havin’ and crappy-job-doin’ OC runs all over your defense.

-------------------------------------

Did you even WATCH the game? Cleveland's OFFENSE didn't do anything. Of their 30 points, 14 were scored by a DL. And 3 of those points came after a 68-yard fake punt run to the 9-yard line. That's 17 points the offense had nothing to do with. I give credit for Cleveland coming into the Superdome and dominating the Saints, but their offense had very little to do with it. Scott Fujita and David Bowens were their top contributors. By far.

Don't listen to disgruntled Cleveland fans speak about Daboll. They can't understand how an offense led by Jake Delhomme, Seneca Wallace, and a rookie QB with an average arm for most of the year couldn't generate 300 yards of passing offense EVERY week.

saw enough of Daboll's offensive offense in CLE for 2 years--inventive rarely--caveman football-yes
Have fun Miami with 2 aging RB's and a QB that get out of his own way and this guy calling plays

First: Heath Evans is not only a great FB, but he is a great philanthropist. He gives more to his community then 99% of the NFL combined. He is far from a prick. Being a nice guy, does not make you competent; and, trust me, Daboll is not competent. The two major victories the Browns did get this year were won be the defense (NE) and special teams (NO). He has a vanilla offensive and no ability to adjust to defenses. Heath is right; this is a step back for the Dolphins. I actually had the exact same thought the moment I read the report of Daboll to Miami...Heath just verified my belief.

Evans is righ ton...Im from Cleveland and a Browns fan.Daboll is a good dude but a HORRIBLE OC..Maybe he can be eventually after learning a lil bit more since he is still young. But this guy's play calling was some of the worst iv ever seen. What Miami see's in him i have no clue.Unless they are expecting to be bad and want/need the first overall pick next yr to get Luck

I don't care about the Dolphins, Daboll, or Evans, but what does Heath Evans not being a HOFer have to do with anything? You aren't allowed to say anything if you aren't going to the Hall of Fame?

Sounds like he's still pissed off that Daboll was one of the only OCs to absolutely embarrass the Saints earlier this year.

It's *gotta* hurt when a no-brain-havin' and crappy-job-doin' OC runs all over your defense.

That said, as a Browns fan, I couldn't be happier this clown Daboll is gone. Trust me, the games against NO and NE were freak occurances that are *not* typical Daboll.

Bringing Daboll in as OC is like bringing a knife to a gunfight. Wryly1 is spot on. If it weren't for the Belichick lieage, he would still be an assistant.
