Yeah, he’s playing like Manning and Brady … on their worst days. Aaron has had two good games in the past five. He had a 55 passer rating against Chicago yesterday. On passing third downs, over the past two or three games, he is 4/22. Not exactly lights out. He’ll have to step up to beat that Pittsburgh D – which is ranked higher than Green Bay’s in total points allowed.

Not likely. Results of Steelers Super Bowls are already decided before they begin. This one probably won’t be any different, and that spells a penalty-filled loss for the Pack. Really wish the Jets had shown up for the game…

Nice job by the Pack today- they beat our Bears but it was fun to see Hanie make it interesting.

Crazy question- is Capers so adept at game planning that he had the Pack defense so attuned to Cutler’s game that they really didn’t know what to do with Hanie when he got in there, or was it just pure luck that Hanie made some decent throws and the ground game picked up?

Either way, I’ll be pulling for the Packers in the Super Bowl. Great fans and a great organization, and probably the best place to go see a game. If you’ve never been to Lambeau and you love football and football history, make sure you go, even if you hate the Packers.

Congrats to the Packers and their loyal fanbase

no one can say you didnt earn this trip to the Super Bowl or didnt earn it. Sometimes Super Bowl teams have a relatively easy path to the big game—at times only needing two home wins to get there.

Not so for the pack: They won 3 road games and knocked off the no.1, no. and no.3 seed and knocked off one of the scarier teams in the wild card round in the Eagles in Philly. They proved their poise holding off the Eagles and Bears despite late game pushes by the opposition and showed what they can do when they put it all together when they smashed the no.1 seeded Falcons in Atlanta

No doubt with the Steelers experience, coaching and defense they will be the favorites heading into the SB but as far as Im concerned its dead even

congrats packers. as a vikings fan, i know who is going to win it all, and it’s the pack. and probably for the next 10 years as long as you have rodgers. seriously, i think the packers will win the next 5 to 10 superbowls. they can’t be stopped with their youth. i just hope the vikings move so I never have to watch them again.

I don’t know what’s better….Bears fans burning the jerseys of their top-10 QB, or watching the somber, sullen mood of the Minneapolis news anchor after the Packers win, mentioning on air how hard this win by the Packers was for many Vikings fans, given how “close” they were last year. (The “Packer Envy” up here knows no bounds…as the daily troll posts of PurvurtHarvy demonstrate every day).

Very sweet that for the first, and possibly last, time in history the Packers are hoisting the Halas Trophy in Soldier Field!!! MAJOR bragging rights…..now my FIB relatives will finally shut up at family reunions, and heck, my MinnySOEduh neighbors won’t have a team soon to be blowhard in August/fair-weathered in December about. (Ok, maybe that’s too much to expect.)

too bad the packers win was tainted with bad officiating. It became obvious that the refs were favoring the packers when they called that intentional grounding penalty.

Didnt they realize it was Caleb Hanie (who?) in there? He was trying to hit his WR his accuracy is just that bad. He has to feel like crap about that call. His aim was so bad that they thought it was intentional grounding.

I agree that it is great to see two historic franchises in the Super Bowl. Congrats to the fans of both teams. Two great fanbases (as are Chicago and NYJ).

This Packer team reminds me of the Cardinals team that was in it a couple years ago. Not a great regular season, but they snuck in to the playoffs and got hot at the right time.

It is damn hard to bet against Big Ben, though. The guy just has it. He might not put great numbers up, but he keeps drives alive and makes first downs. Every time I watch him, I am amazed by the sixth sense he has.

I give the edge to the Steelers because I see these two defenses as being equal, but the Steelers have the magic touch on offense. Should be a fun game, though.

As a lifelong Vikings fan, it’s never easy to watch them stink up the field. But that’s exactly what they did in 2010. I’d like to Congratulate Green Bay for winning the NFC. Also, Kudos to Green Bay and Chicago for representing the Black and Blue division proudly in the NFC Championship game. Best division in football in my opinion. Vikes fans, don’t be bitter and trash talk the Packers or their fans. They obviously have the better team right now. Vikes fans, we can only live on the magic of the 2009 season so long. Time to let it go.
