Pouncey to be healthy – and play in SB. It’s only fair since he has been such a great addition to the Steelers team, and did wonders for the running game.

Aaron Smith to finally get on the field, albeit in a limited capacity since Ziggy is coming into his own and the D Line has stepped up BIG.

Troy getting a proper rest – 2 weeks straight so he can rest his achilles, I feel he is due for a BIG performance in this game. Since it’s obvious he hasn’t been able to plant his feet and really explode on the play, opponent, or ball during the past two playoff games. He has played well but not great like we know he can.

And please Def. Coor. LeBeau – you must bring a few new wrinkles to the pressure & coverage schemes. Rodgers is playing with a lot of confidence and he will be slinging the ball – with some exceptional receivers running routes. Our LB’s gotta crash the pocket – and our DB’s must jam and press coverage. Rodgers passes are on the money overall – and their receivers have some tough hands to make catches.

I understand winning games isn’t all about stats, but so far he’s won a SuperBowl by completing 9/23 passes for 123 yards, 0 TD’s and 2 INT’s. And now he just won an AFC championship going 10/19 for 133 yds, 0 TD’s and 2 INT’s.

Winning playoff games isn’t about having a “clutch” QB. It’s the same as it ever was. Whoever can run the ball, stop the run, and play good D wins it. Both championships games had very little to do w/ QB play…

Big Ben is a huge reason for the Steelers’ success. They had great running games and great defenses for years with Cowher– but they couldn’t win a SB until Ben came along. And by the way, he had 3 fantastic playoff games leading up to SB 40 and probably the most clutch performance in SB history in SB 43.

The Steelers D is great– but they wouldn’t be winning Superbowls without Roethlisberger.

Ben also missed Heath Miller to left side for sure touchdown, overthrew him by a hair.

keep telling yourself that, less and less people are believing it now. Ay=t least people who watch football. I will say, he didnt fo much the 1st time we beat the seahawks. But, he LED us down the field to beat Arizona, and a clock mgr qb would have just handed off tonight on 3rd and 4. Instead, he is CLUTCH AGAIN, when we needed him. You can hate the steelers, and Big Ben all you want, but the guy is a winner PERIOD! Funny, all the GREAT qbs will be watching Ben play AGAIN! love it!

Didn’t build up Sanchez to make the Steelers look better; not my style. Besides, the Steelers looked far better in the first half when Sanchez and the Jets were scoreless. As always, said what I think: Despite his relative inexperience, Sanchez was admirably fearless in managing that comeback. And his pass to Holmes, taking advantage of Ike’s stumble, was beautifully executed.

Yes, I could have just rubbed in their loss, but that’s not my style, either. Win or lose, I try to be a good sport. Not surprised you don’t get it.

No need to build Sanchez up to make the Steelers win look better.Take away a couple of good throws and Sanchez looked awful, as always; under-throwing, over-throwing, he looks positively lost out there.

Roethlisberger in the second half didn’t look any better than Brady or Manning in their games, thank God he did enough in the first half to win. Give him credit though for hitting that first down when he HAD to have it.

I’ll say this about him: there isn’t a better quarterback in the league at succeeding when he’s flushed out of the pocket, and dude made a couple of runs that Tom Brady only WISHED he could make. However, other QBs are good enough to not GET flushed out of the pocket, or need to run with the ball.

Plus, he’s a recovering sexual predator.

Other than that, he’s okay.

What could be better? Maybe winning a SB in Baltimore?
