Jimmy – Look at the bright side, it gave the CryQueen fans some material for a few days until the Packers announced that they were including everybody. Now the CryQueen fans have to go back to the introspection of looking at their last place team.

Barnett has always been all bark and no bite. He won’t be a Packer next year anyway. Pack by 7 in the Superbowl.

This article doesn’t point out that he was actually mad at the players. He should apologize for the oversight and move on. He doesn’t risk his body in the game of football so he wouldn’t know that his players could feel slighted. Instead, he’s making the problem worse. Distractions are the ultimate equalizer and he’s doing his best to make them.

Starting the night when the two finalists are determined the “worst 2 1/2 weeks of journalism in the year” tournament starts. It is in these 2 1/2 weeks that the standards of atrocious, awful, moronic, pointless, desperately rotten journalism are set for the next 49 1/2 weeks to give all those wannabes, neverweres, and assorted fauna a target to aim down to.

Michael David Smith, you have gotten things off to a good start, but the pinnacle is usually reached on “Stupid question Tuesday” (or Wednesday), which usually comes during the last week before the contest.

I have some advice for those of you out there who agree with me which will help you get through the next 10 days and 3+ hours until the game starts.

Just say “play the damn game” OVER AND OVER to yourself and ignore everything else. Believe me – it works.

My work here is done. You can thank me Monday morning February 7.

By “total overreaction”, McCarthy was referring to the IR players themselves who thought the best way to find redress was to state their cases via Twitter.

McCarthy has an open door policy for this very reason, he wants the team issues to be resolved internally, not in the press. But as fate would have it, two of the biggest ego’s just happen to hit IR this year and the rest is history.
