the packer players not in the photo are the ones who started all this not the media..its the medias job to take a story like that and run with it.if the players wouldnt have run there mouth it would never got out there..i think the players shoudlnt be aloud to tweet during the season period…and Woodleys comments are not bulletin board material…

Sure, but it’s not like with two weeks to prepare for a game it takes a lot of time to log on and type 140 characters. It isn’t like a Packer or Steeler player’s going, “No coach, I’d love to practice, but I gotta go write my novel today.” Why, I’d be willing to bet that multiple players from both teams have watched TV, attended movies, even, (GASP!) gone out to eat in the last week.

I’ll bet one or two have even strummed a guitar after getting home from practice.

It’s taunting, dude, face facts.

Seven guys on your team were accused of rape this summer. Roethlisberger is just as guilty as your players. If you’re stooping to that kind of smack, you must be more worried about the Steelers than I thought. Sad.

Who is Lamarr Woodley? He’s the guy who led James Harrison to the promised land after his INT in SBXLIII, then sacked Warner and stripped the ball to end the game and any chance the Cards had to come back.

I’m sure Rodgers was echoing the sentiments of more than a few people on the team- especially considering guys like Ryan Grant who HAVE stuck around all season.

But… he (Rodgers) hopefully gets now that there was nothing whatsoever to gain in bringing this stuff up right now, especially in such a public way.

All he needed to say was “yep, they’re all part of the team, I’m glad they’ll be with us in Dallas.”

They’ll “hug it out” on Thursday and that’ll be it, but hopefully they understand better just how big (and desperate for a story) the media microscope is for them right now.
