Ochocinco turns his attention to Mike Brown

Chad Ochocinco

Bengals receiver Chad Ochocinco says he wants to return to Cincinnati, but he’s seemingly doing everything possible to get out of town.

His latest missive was directed towards owner Mike Brown, his longtime boss.

“If you have a business is it right for the people that work for you to care more about success than the rightful owner itself?” Ochocinco asked Sunday.

He was in the reflective mood because he was packing for the Super Bowl.

He’s running out of years to play in the game, rather than attending as one of the many players in town to sell something.

The worst thing that could happen to this clown would me to make him stay right where he is.

I can think of no greater punishment.

As much as Chad is driving me nuts lately, I LOVE that he’s calling Mike Brown out. It’s about damn time more players speak up. Mike Brown is THE WORST owner in all of professional sports. He’s even worse than Al Davis. The league needs to step in on this joke of a front office and do something about it. Otherwise this team will have no fans left in a couple of years. God I hate Mike Brown.

Sadly he is correct. Mike Brown has never cared about winning. I remember a couple of years ago before Marvin Lewis was there and players were saying that the Bengals wouldn’t even provide breakfast for early morning meetings to save money.

That is the most intelligent comment C. Johnson has ever said. Mike Brown is a piece of garbage.

I’m a devout Steeler fan and I love to see the Steelers beat Cincy.

But, Cincy is a town of good and friendly people and they don’t deserve to have 2 clowns on their team like Chad and T.O. who believe that the game is about them, and not the team.

Those 2 guys have made a mockery of the team and the City.

I hope the Cincy front office gets rid of both of these fools; gets 2 very good WRs to replace them; makes the Bengals competitive again and a team that the town can be proud of.

Then I hope the Steelers continue to beat them twice a year.

Once again Good ol Chad being being an attention whore. Lets be real… the man doesn’t care about win ning a Super Bowl otherwises he would have forced his way out of Cincy and went to a team that had a good shot at getting there. He needs to realize he is far beyond his great years and should now just be thrilled to earn big bucks as a 2nd rate receiver

Love it.. love seein people get called out.. fight your way outta cinci chad.. cue the thumb downs (you stiffs)

Why can’t articles have thumbs up/down too?

  10. enders9 says: Jan 30, 2011 9:26 PM

Chad is saying the exact same thing that EVERY bengal fan is saying. But those same Bengal fans will rip into him for saying it… while praising Carson for demanding a trade.

Chad did try to force his way out of Cincy. The Bengals wouldn’t trade him. They were offered two first round pick for him a couple years ago and they turned it down.

Chad wants out, and Cincy wants him out even worse. We can’t trade him though, nobody in their right mind would pay him $6.5 million. After the CBA he will be released and sign up a 1yr contract with a team like the Panthers at the league minimum.

Chad coulda already “fought his way outta Cinci” if he wanted to. Instead he chose to take all that money Mike Brown put in front of him.

  14. freedomispopular says: Jan 30, 2011 10:16 PM

Now he wants a cage match with Brown too?

  15. mrsmith35sg says: Jan 30, 2011 10:21 PM

Chad already tried to fight his way out of Cincy (See 2007) Hell the man cried after a loss to Pittsburgh earlier in his career because he just wanted to win…this was before Chad turned into the Twitter Diva and VH1 addict he is now.

He’s past his prime years, but the man is speaking for all the Cincy fans here. And he, Carson, and Thank God everyone else is finally speaking up on this issue

If anyone has made a mockery of the team, and the city, it’s Mike Brown. T.O. and Ocho are attention whores for sure, but it doesn’t mean they can’t be right about the Bengals ownership.

The only way to get Mike Brown’s attention is for Bengals fans to stop coming to games. Until you hit him in the wallet, nothing will change.

What Chad fails to realize is that Mike Brown’s definition of success is different than his. The Brown family is interested in turning a profit…and that winning football game is not directly related to that.

Chad, Mike Brown can’t hear you over the sound of his laughter as he counts all his money.

The NFL is the only business I know where you can put out a losing product and still make money.

Mike Brown knows this and will never change.
