Ines Sainz creates a stir at Super Bowl Media Day

inessainzmediaday

Ines Sainz, the TV Azteca reporter who was the subject of “unprofessional conduct” when she visited the Jets’ facilities, was back to covering the NFL today as part of Super Bowl Media Day.

Although, at least when I saw her, she wasn’t covering the NFL so much as the media was covering her: She had a throng of reporters and photographers around her that topped most of the players present.

If you’re curious what the scene looked like, you can check out the photos taken by some of our media friends, including Sean Jensen, Albert Breer and Rich Eisen.

Sainz has said she’s not going to be in any more NFL locker rooms, but she’s clearly not done covering the NFL. And whenever she does, she seems to become the center of attention.

Oh yeah…very professional. Looks like she’s really trying to be taken seriously.

wow. pretty girl gets lots of media attention. big news flash. you guys bored or something?

  8. dboom says: Feb 1, 2011 12:33 PM

When are the networks going to wake up and realize this woman is media Gold??? Get rid of useless Pam Oliver (who couldn’t name 5 NFL teams) and make Sainz a sideline reporter.

  9. tsimpson50 says: Feb 1, 2011 12:34 PM

OMG! She is much different looking than Howard Cosell was with a mike….. The league sells sex and alcohol and the having those women in provocative(sp) outfits only echoes it…

  10. cleverbob says: Feb 1, 2011 12:37 PM

So sad that no one takes her seriously as a journalist…

  11. miket0823 says: Feb 1, 2011 12:40 PM

Couldn’t have anything to do with her outfits, of course. I don’t condone acting like a pig, or even being coy like Clinton Portis was, but come on already. It wouldn’t hurt to just put on some professional attire and cover the sporting event. Plenty of other attractive female journalists have figured out how to carry themselves with dignity and elegance if that is important to them.

  12. deeppurple23 says: Feb 1, 2011 12:42 PM

She’s very attractive, she knows it, and she doesn’t seem to have a problem displaying it, just look at Albert’s pic if you don’t know what I mean. Look at her legs and how she’s standing. The “pose” is intended to “accent” her uh…figure. :)

  13. epping16 says: Feb 1, 2011 12:42 PM

She creates a stir no matter where she is! And rightfully so.

Bro….really? Pam Oliver can not only name every NFL team, but she can likely tell you the names of the wives and kids of every team starting QB from oldest to youngest! SHE is a reporter that DOES her homework and asks more relevant questions than what size a player’s biceps are (as Ms. Saenz has done on numerous occasions) .

Media Gold? Saenz is, for a lack of a better word or more political correct term, an attention whore plain and simple.

  15. 4dabears says: Feb 1, 2011 1:00 PM

“…she’s clearly not done covering the NFL. And whenever she does, she seems to become the center of attention.” which is exactly what she wants. Can’t she just go back to May-he-ko or wherever she’s from already?!

” she’s not going to be in any more NFL locker rooms”

Yeah, and with Big Ben around she won’t be going in any more bathrooms either….

at this rate someone, cue leaked sex tape of Ines Sainz.

Cheapest and most efficient form of publicity when all other forms are failing.

  20. wutthecrapman says: Feb 1, 2011 1:16 PM

If she didn’t have that perfect ass she would not be a story. She herself knows it. Its somewhat sad too, but the pictures of her backside show that nobody really cares what she has to say.

Its time for her to report the story not be the story.

  21. discosucs2005 says: Feb 1, 2011 1:18 PM

    @wetpaperbag2

Alright simmer down. I don’t think Pam Oliver minds what people say about her online, you don’t have to go all White Knight and defend her.

  24. tdl8 says: Feb 1, 2011 1:21 PM

I hate chicks that dress like prostitutes and then complain when guys check them out and hit on them! I guess she hasn’t learned her lesson because that dress is almost short enough for that throng of reports to see more than just her thong!

Here’s an idea.. If you don’t want to be looked at as a sex symbol COVER YOURSELF UP or stay away from rooms with 50+ guys in them and only one hot woman while you are showing everything off!

  25. blackglass3 says: Feb 1, 2011 1:22 PM

Inez didn’t wear a wedding dress and propose to Roethlisberger or Rodgers? What a skank!

  26. eagleslayer says: Feb 1, 2011 1:23 PM

Pam Oliver???? This dimwit hasn’t asked a relevant question in her entire “career”… She is without question, the most useless “reporter” in broadcast history. It’s been how many years? She still looks completely uncomfortable in front of the camera.

I’ll take Sainz over her anyday.

Pam Oliver a dimwit? Have you ever watched a pre-game taped interview of hers on the Fox NFL Sunday show? THAT’S where she does her best work. As far as sidleline reporting, it’s ALL crap because ALL sideline reporters state the obvious.

Then you talk about you’d take Saenz over Oliver any day? You go from criticizing Oliver’s work to wanting Saenz for likely her looks because Saenz has not asked a serious NFL football question in her entire career! At least you won’t see Oliver or ANY other female journalist wearing a wedding dress to get attention.

“Media Gold? Saenz is, for a lack of a better word or more political correct term, an attention whore plain and simple.”

Except for the word “attention”, I agree with this statement.

  31. dino2997 says: Feb 1, 2011 3:11 PM

Something tells me right now Ines Sainz is extremely happy about what happened in the Jets locker room. Her 15 minutes of fame may not last long though…

  32. trollaikman8 says: Feb 1, 2011 3:12 PM

Can’t wait til Fox hires her for next season.
You know it’s going to happen.

  33. trollaikman8 says: Feb 1, 2011 3:12 PM

And by Fox I mean “Fox News and Friends”….not at all related to football.

  39. jimmylions says: Feb 1, 2011 4:14 PM

Mine was also erased, probably for being on topic instead of just making a stupid comment about her body.

  40. someonestolesociofan says: Feb 1, 2011 5:16 PM

Other than questionable attire for a professional reporter, she does not come across as a complete idiot.

In general, Latin women like dressing to accent their figure. We are just not as used to it here.

What is used every advertising agency is the world…..women. There two things that make the world go round. Since time immortal , MONEY AND AZZ. Now I know its an obvious point, but thats how it works. It wasnt a “face that sunk a thousand ships” It was AZZ. Did you ever think why homely people are on radio. TV is made for pretty people to look Gooooooooooooooooooood. The only thing I hate is when they say there insulted by this. And I also dont beleive money makes you happyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
