Let me add one other thing…Dallas IS NOT AMERICAS TEAM…..I live in miami now and I havent seen one Dallas sticker/jersey/anything not one. Go to a sports bar on sunday….not one dallas fan….every other team fans everywhere…..Another bigger than life myth created by Texas…Go succeed if you really want….we wont miss your uneducated and dirty air…..or your ex-president who cant speak in sentences……

The more news storys I hear about Dallas and the superbowl the more it sounds like Im reading about a 3rd world nation . Power outages/rolling outages, business closed , no cabs and a lap dancer shortage . I guess even the headaches are bigger in texas YeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeHaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

THe whole state of Texas sucks. The people are the worst and they think everything about Texas is better than anything else….Give it back to Mexico… As far as the superbowl, I can tell most of have never gone to one. There is tons of outdoor stuff to do all week, thats part of it. It should only be in: Miami, Tampa, New Orleans, or LA. Not in Dallas or is it Arlington or is it Ft. Worth?

80% of those that attend the game are corporate and could care less who wins. Make them sit in the elements and maybe tickets would be availble for the real fans.

I had a problem with the weather while living in Tampa today. When I walked to the mailbox to get the mail a slight wind blew some sand into my flipflop. Very annoying.

How much are we looking forward to a New York (New Jersey) SB, perhaps with a 50 year storm hitting that weekend dumping 40″ of snow, dropping temps to -45f or so, and the 45-70mph winds setting 7′ drifts..
I am sure it will be an exciting game to watch..
Sure am glad they are never gonna give the beautiful facility in Seattle a SB, I mean they might have showers..

you know i am sick of this crap where people say super bowl should be in warm weather,,,all these teams play in the cold at some point during a season,,,i would prefer to see it cold and snowing for the game than hot and dry,the cold weather is what fottball is all about…or all teams would be in the south. who cares about the sponsors most of them dotn go to the game or sit in closed section anyway

Barring a power outage or a transmission problem the weather won’t create any cancellations for me.

Wifey and I will watch it in the comfort of our own home..where there are no lines for beer or bathrooms…and no charge…

And I suspect that millions of other people will be similarly unaffected.

Ok lets break down your argument:
Apparently the “Pacific Beach Dumpster” is only within the LA border and the Pacific beach does not touch SD – your argument = FAIL

LA’s increased population can in no way contribute as much revenue as SD’s lowered populations – your argument = FAIL

Its no wonder that even L.A. does not want the Chargers to move up there. L.A. always has and always will look down on San Diego. My argument = WIN

This is unfortunate timing for the city of Dallas and Jerry Jones but nothing more. This isn’t typical weather for the area and even if cold and snow were typical of the area, who cares? They play the rest of the season and playoffs with weather so why not play the Super Bowl with weather?

Texas is such a hell hole. What would be better than blackouts on Sunday so that place is pitch black. Blacker than the heart of Goodell and his TV cronies. Greed has taken over and is tarnishing the sport that the actual “game” has taken a back seat to all this other crap.

Rather than talk about the game all we hear about now is Owners and Money, and TV ratings. New Stadiums in LA for teams not yet named. Discrace.

Just remember what the cameras wont show on Sunday when Goodell is slapping high fives with the Rooney family every time the Steelers make a big play, along with the occasional wink and a nod to the officiating booth if Big Ben comes up short on a sneak at the goal line to give the Steelers the edge.

The casinos will give people just enough hope that Greenbay actually has a chance in this one and steal your money right from under your nose at the last minute. The Las Vegas skyline will continue to grow and Goodell and his TV friends pockets will get fatter. Slap in a black eyed peas performance to further distract everyone at halftime and you got yourself the perfect con. Its become wrestling, only difference is they have gotten good enough to actually make people believe it is real.

THIS is the cherry ATP the Jerry Jones crap-sundae of a season. Dallas more than likely won’t be a rotational site for future Super Bowls. Time for the NFL to crawl back to San Diego, unless they plan on moving a team to L.A.
