So evidently you must think Rodgers is getting "tight. Remember, just because you think it, unfortunately, that doesn't make it so. Guess we'll find out in a little over 48 hours.

Good luck to Steeler fans on Sunday night. The 2 guys that are out must be going crazy knowing they will not get to play.

Personally, I just hope it's a well played game and not decided by referee blunders. Oh, and of course, also for a Pack victory.

Before Super Bowl I, Max McGee was so hung over he could barely walk. He was a second stringer so he didn’t think he would play anyway so he spent the night before the game carousing and didn’t get any sleep at all. First play of the game, the starting WR goes down with an injury and he has to play. He goes in and the rest is history.

Super Bowl I MVP.

I believe you are misinformed. The MVP in Super Bowl I was Bart Starr. And McGee was 3rd on the depth chart behind Boyd Dowler, Carroll Dale. When Dowler went down...and he heard Lombardi yell "McGee"....he thought the coach found out that he broke curfew!

Steelfan:

I take it you've just started observing Aaron Rodgers. He's tight, that's his personality.

Call me crazy, but I like my QB to be a perfectionist.

I know you guys love Ben's 'throw it around with reckless abandon' approach, and I can assure you, Charles Woodson, Tramon Williams, Nick Collins, and Sam Shields do, as well.

Pick 6. Believe it.

I think censorship should be censored because I am so damn tired of having my posts censored from these threads for the most freaking idiotic reasons.

Apparently, it's okay for a dimwit like kcbuds to stereotype Steelers fans as steel workers, but it's not okay to comment on the stupidity of stereotyping.

Apparently, it's okay for a guy calling himself "stinkyfingers"--with the inherent sexual connotations that carries--and declare a QB guilty of rape when we all know from the evidence and comments of the Georgia authorites that isn't the case. But it's not okay for me to make a wisecrack at him. It's clearly okay for Packer fans to put the Jets fans to shame in terms of arrogance, but it's not okay for me to say so.

Where is the vulgarity in my comments that's making them sooooo inappropriate for the delicate eyes of the PFT faithful that you have to censor me on almost every thread even though I've been told that wouldn't happen anymore????????????????????

If you have no problem posting bigoted, stereotyped, and libelous comments, you shouldn't have any problem posting me calling them out. Stop posting them and I'll stop writing the rebuttals.

Two of the Classiest Organizations in football. Both have earned the right to play come sunday. Why is it that all we see on these boards are classless Steelers fans that have nothing better to do but insult everything, the board must be filled with 11 year olds.
———————————————-

Apparently you haven’t been reading the trash coming out of “gregjennings” and his other Packer Backer buds here. Frankly I’ve never seen such a garbage-spewing fan base on these boards like Green Bay. So I’d do a little more reading here before launching that boulder standing in front of your glass cottage. How many times are we going to read “Rapistburger” from a Green Bay fan (never mind that SEVEN of your guys were accused of rape) — you call THAT “mature” friend? Gimme a break.

-------

get it straight - 6 of 7 players were cleared immediately, and charges are not being pursued against the 7th because the accusers lied within minutes of making initial statements - this is why the story was never taken seriously - old ben has a different kind of story - and rep - now that he's been accused...twice? hmm. where there's smoke...there's ben...and maybe a stumbling drunk college girl. well played ben. keppin in classy.

Or the Steelers realize they are up against the most overrated team to ever enter the SB and are not worried about preparing for them. Let the Packers have the spotlight today because on Sunday it belongs to the Steelers.
_____________

How is a Super Bowl team overrated?

——
When you are a sixth seed team that needed help from 2 other teams to get in and ALMOST lost to Chicago’s third string QB…THATS how.

-----

the packers never needed, nor got help to get into the playoffs - they controlled their own destiny, beat the giants and chicago, won the tie breaker and they advanced - secondly, every great team finds a way to win when having an off game - that actually is the mark of a great team, historically - in this game rodgers got rocked early in the second half (after shredding chicago's high school-like defense in the first half), and yeah, he made some questionable decisions - the defense, however, stepped up - with the aid of ROOKIES and late-season STREET ACQUISITIONS, the defense made plays and put the game away. team football, idiot. youre posts are categorically ridiculous.

_________________________

So, Timmons, Clark, and Palomalu round out your cornerback corps?

No. they don’t play cornerback, which is why I said your CBs are atrocious.

This isn’t your average squad. Bring on Taylor. Jennings will own him. As for the other CBs -they’re dead – we have the best group of WRs in the league. Don’t believe me? Check back on Monday.

Also, one last thing, this type of statement is why no one can stand you Steelers fans:

“Polamalu may be best player ever to play defense in the NFL.”
___________________
Jennings, if the cb's of the Steelers are atrocious in your eyes, you are just dumb. Taylor checks the number 1 wideout all day. He gave up 1 TD all year. 1. Did you ever watch them play? Ever?
Tried to explain about the other players as it is a team game.

I think you have fine receivers. One has to wonder how often Rogers will get to really see them though.
That is the other part of the equation. Right?

Two of the Classiest Organizations in football. Both have earned the right to play come sunday. Why is it that all we see on these boards are classless Steelers fans that have nothing better to do but insult everything, the board must be filled with 11 year olds.

Apparently you haven't been reading the trash coming out of "gregjennings" and his other Packer Backer buds here. Frankly I've never seen such a garbage-spewing fan base on these boards like Green Bay.
