More than most Super Bowls, we know that both the Packers and Steelers could win on Sunday.
So how do they go about doing it?
For a pair of annual columns on NBCSports.com, I looked at 11 reasons why the Packers can win and 11 ways the Steelers can come out on top.
A few of the biggest Packers reasons: Troy Polamalu doesn’t seem right, Green Bay doesn’t need to run to win, their defensive linemen can win individual battles, and the Steelers haven’t performed well against elite quarterbacks.
Steelers backers can feel confident because they have the perfect quarterback to manage their biggest weakness. Pittsburgh’s speed is better at wide receiver, their linebackers are bigger playmakers, and Green Bay has a tendency to let teams hang around.
This is the fourth Super Bowl I’ve attended, and the first three were all classics. This one almost looks too good on paper.
