As Eagles quarterback Mike Vick embarks on the first offseason after his return to superstardom, fans in Philly will be worrying that he could commit the one false move that could knock him out of the league for a long time.

They can start worrying now.

Vick will host a Super Bowl party in Dallas, according to TMZ.

The good news? The Friday night soiree at Deux Lounge will include multiple security measures, including Vick bringing his own private security team, the NFL providing a security detail, the club using extra members of their own security staff, and guests being searched as they enter.

The manager of the club also has hired three off-duty members of a local SWAT team.

It makes sense to take these measures given that someone was shot outside Vick’s 30th birthday party last year, but it also makes us wonder whether the rest of the offseason for Vick will entail more parties -- and whether the security measures will always be as extensive. At a certain point, it arguably makes even more sense for Vick to make permanent lifestyle adjustments that entail avoiding any situations in which a small army of security forces will be needed.
