cutler4president, actually, Woodson DID get in there, there was a great reaction shot of him to a TD, I think, trying to do a fist pump – and then grimacing in pain from how it torqued his collarbone around.

Broke my collarbone few months ago (playing football) and I could tell he broke it after the way he was walking/jogging after the injury. It was unfortunate for a great player like charles, but glad he got his ring.

Driver was not Helped off the field he hobbled….. PLUS why weren’t they coaching the reserves that went in for them??? They quit on their team for not going back in and playing..didn’t see Driver with Crutches…….??

Just because Woodson was in street clothes makes it better..Biggest game of his LIFE…and he doesn’t try to go….. OR did the Medical staff keep him out like the BEars staff held out Cutler??? HMMMMMMM

Funny how it changes with other guys getting injured and not trying to go!!!!

Driver, Woodson et al that were injured(on plays the we All could actually See) are warriors. They were all carried off the field of play and yet they fulfilled their training as football players, moreover as competitive athletes and MEN! They all tried to comeback to the fight and preserver. But once they themselves realized they were truly Injured and not just hurt they relented and post haste they were fitted with slings and casts to stabilize shoulder, knee and ankle joints which had suffered trauma and subsequently received ice treatment to minimize swelling that is ALWAYS the result of such blunt force or torquing injuries. Same story goes for Pouncey of the Steelers.

Why would non of these pro forma basic steps in the rehabilitation of an injury not be taken with the starting QB for the Chicago Bears Immediately!? Especially when you considered that the Bears still had a chance, no matter how small, to play in the SB in two weeks?

Bless his heart! I was trying to figure out how he got hurt because I didn’t recall seeing him in a collision with another player. Also didn’t recall that he was on the Raiders team that lost a Super Bowl, so I’m sure this was doubly sweet for him. It is too bad that he was forced to leave the game, but as stoutfiles said, he knows the role he played in helping his team get to the championship. Glad he could be on the field to celebrate the win. Congrats, Charles.

Way to leave it all on the field. Woodson has given the Packers so much over the last few years, and I’m glad he got his ring. I wish he could have stayed on the field all game, but you know he’ll be smiling throughout rehab.
